The Dark and Bold Expresso is as bold and tasty as it's name. If you like coffee you will like it. I perk mine in my grandmother's old percolator pot.

Am a regular Signature Dark Roast drinker and purchased the Dark and Bold Espresso when the more affordable 46 ounce became available over the much smaller size that was only offered previously.The Dark and Bold grounds themself are darker compared to the Signature. I expected the strong coffee taste and at least some bitterness aftertaste. It was strong, but without any bitterness. VERY ENJOYABLE!

My sister introduced me to Community Coffee and I've been hooked ever since. I order this coffee because it's so worth the effort. The Expresso roast is perfect and the grind is just right for the coffee concentrate I make. The end result is so flavorful and smooth. This is MY coffee.

Excellent coffee! Perfect taste and aroma and makes a great cup of coffee.

Main problem it does not come in whole bean, second problem it is bitter and acidic. If this is what you are replacing our whole bean private reserve espresso with I am majorily disappointed. I have been buying and going though at least 8 bags of the private reserve whole bean espresso a month for the past 15yrs plus whenever it came out basically. I have tried most of the whole bean espresso brands on the Market and none of them come close to this extreme dark roast coffee, all others are barely dark roast coffees and are both highly acidic, bitter and lack the full bodied syrupy flavor of the private reserve espresso. Neither does this. It almost tastes like you mixed a your French roast coffee and regular red bag dark roast together and called it espresso. Also tastes like the coffee beans are from south America and Africa regions versus the pacific region where a good portion of the private reserve beans used to come from (is. Sumatra, MochaJava..etc).
