Just no. It has a burnt taste, not bold or smooth at all. Yuk. I wanted to try a different brand of coffee and Would not recommend. I'll stick with purchasing my regular Starbucks ground coffee.

The new bold roasts are amazing, Hands down my new favorite coffee. The Intense is smooth but bold. Will be ordering more!!!!

The Dark and Bold Expresso is as bold and tasty as it's name. If you like coffee you will like it. I perk mine in my grandmother's old percolator pot.

Tastes like the espresso I loved 30-40 years ago, which is a flavor that is difficult to find these days. And that's just making it in my Bunn coffee maker. I haven't tried my moka pot yet.

Am a regular Signature Dark Roast drinker and purchased the Dark and Bold Espresso when the more affordable 46 ounce became available over the much smaller size that was only offered previously.The Dark and Bold grounds themself are darker compared to the Signature. I expected the strong coffee taste and at least some bitterness aftertaste. It was strong, but without any bitterness. VERY ENJOYABLE!
