[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this tv for gaming, ambient picture, movies and tv shows. The quality is always crystal and there is minimal to no lag on video to sound. Depth of voices could be a little better but overall a great tv.

The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the interface can be glitchy and won't remember where you were when you turned the TV off. You have to go back home and then navigate to your show all over again. But overall, a great TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the tv isn't horrible, but coming from the js9000, from 5 years ago, i expected it to be on the same tech and if not better bye this series. what you get is a decent tv great motion, not alot of brightness or a range of colors..due to brightness, the ui is pretty good slow to premium tvs but very acceptable. if you need a bedroom tv the tu8000 is a good value, but if you're looking for stunning this is not it

I explained the couple things I was looking for to the associate where I was shopping for a TV and she pointed me to the Samsung line. I purchased the 65 inch Samsung 8 series. I have older TV that is 10 years old and when I got this Samsung hooked up, I was very impressed by the quality and clarity of the picture. We have had the TV for about a month now and we will be watching a show or movie and still will comment how excellent the picture is. I am glad I spent a little more money than I thought I would because it is definitely worth it. In the next year I will probably be replacing another TV and will definitely stay with the Samsung line. I will highly recommend this TV and the Samsung line.

I wanted a tv to game and to watch my shows and this tv shows all the blacks and colors perfectly. My bigger concern was watching the tv at night but my goodness does this tv make it seem like im at a cinema. 10/10 recommend!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is amazing, I love the app capabilities and the picture quality. It bring movie watching to life. Bing watching movies has become one of my favorite pass times. I can sync my iPad to my tv and watch videos. This tv has Apple TV as an app which makes watching movies that much better.

I'm somewhat disappointed in the amount of control available for picture quality, especially brightness and contrast. I'm also using two separate sound systems with the TV, a zvox Sound Base and a Polk Command Bar. I was hoping to be able to set up the remote to control both of these simultaneously (just volume level and mute), but the TV can only accommodate one audio device at a time. I'm also finding it difficult to get my Amazon Fire TV Cube to control the TV properly. It recognizes the TV and can control some functions, such as turning the TV on, but it can't turn the TV off. My Dish Hopper remote also turns the TV on but not off. The only way I can shut the TV off is to use the Samsung remote that came with the TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this model a couple of weeks ago for the master bedroom along with the Samsung wall mount. Wall mount was very easy to install (although I an a pro a/v integrator) and the tv was easier to put on the mount. Powered the unit on and was asked if I wanted to set up via remote or SmartThings app. I downloaded the app and set up my tv. VERY surprised to see both the YouTube TV and Apple TV apps, so no need for my physical Apple TV. Sound and display are both great and maybe, hopefully, I'll score me a soundbar to go with it. Great product and my wife and I are both very happy with this new tv. We're considering upgrading the rest of the tv's in the house with the same model.

Remote control is the worst part of the entire experience - you have to use a table or cell phone to control the TV reasonably. The box it came in needs to be fixed with better handle for holding the box. The TV needs to have handles for holding the TV (it is hard to move due to the lack of hand holding spots). The back side of the TV needs to have white plastic (not black) where the connector are located so that you can see interface ports.
