I owned the UN43TU8000F model for 3 years now. I love it. It has two usb ports with one being dedicated to HDD. This means you can insert a thumb drive or any type of storage device and play movies, videos and photos. I have been ripping my dvd's to a usb storage device and watching lots of shows and movies without the need for a DVD player.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture. Tried using the smart tv features to run YouTube TV app. It was cumbersome to add. It took too many steps to find each time I turned the TV on. Also wasn't able to add FRNDLY app. Each time I turned on the TV and started YouTube TV, it seemed to still be running. I would have to cancel/exit YouTube TV and then relaunch it. I gave up and bought a Roku stick to host apps, which has a very nice interface and reliably and quickly launches apps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound and picture is great but every couple of times when i turn on my xbox, the screen gets too bright and it wont stop until i restart the tv and xbox. Also the refresh rate of only 60hz is evident as the tv freezes sometimes.

The picture is great, sound is good so far for what we want and the ease of use is ok. Im not very tech savvy but I am learning as I go. Overall, great tv and will be ordering more samsung smart tvs for in our house to get rid of direct tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only hiccup to come from the tv is the internet connectivity. I've had to reset my router a few times as the television lost its connection. Not sure if the router is at fault, as other connected devices didn't seem to lose connectivity. Otherwise, very happy with television. As this is my first 4k television, I don't have much of a basis to compare it with other 4k smart TVs. I do like the picture clarity, so I'm good with it.

In fact, our last tv, a Toshiba 55" plasma, was on continuously for about 10 years and we were concerned we might never find another tv that would perform as well. That's definitely not the case here, our new Samsung TV is awesome and we couldn't be happier! So much detail in the picture and so many features that are easy to access and navigate. Since our last tv was so old, this is our first smart tv and we love it! We also play a lot of video games so the auto Game Mode feature is very cool. It recognizes all the newer game consoles we have connected by name so they are very easy to find instead of trying to remember which HDMI port they are plugged into. We used to watch all of our streaming services thru a game console but now it's so much easier to watch them thru the tv with the automatic app toolbar that pops up. The picture is stunningly detailed and colorful with almost no frame lag which is important for us since we watch a lot of action movies and play a lot of fast paced games. Our tv also has almost no chance of image burn in either which was very important for us while searching for a new TV. We most definitely made the right choice in our new Samsung TV and I promise you won't be disappointed should you chose one as well. We were so impressed with ours that we bought both our sons the same tv each, a 50" for our oldest and a 43" for our youngest. 3 great TVs, no lemons, amazing quality.... The choice is clear, Samsung!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Samsung 65inch TV got back in May is probably the best TV I've owned to date. Very clear and bright colors. I have to TV hooked up to the wireless internet. No wires to deal with. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great TV at a great price. I'm definitely a Samsung person now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 8000 series TV in a smaller screen size is perfect for a bedroom placement. With enough adjustments, it can even be used while your partner is asleep. The color are great, though due to the screen type, some bleed on darker scenes is expected. Sound is great, but not perfect, as expected from tv speakers. The built in speakers are enough for TV shows, however, a sound bar is a must to get proper sound for movies. If you have the cash, aim higher in the Samsung lineup. Something OLED is preferable for cinematic entertainment, keep in mind that OLEDs tend to burn in quicker than most displays and constantly playing the same game will induce burn in with the games UI.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a specs guy. Personally, when shopping for a TV, I simply want to look at the picture and be wowed. Most big retail stores are constantly sold out of these tvs, which should be a clear indicator that they are awesome and very popular. Overall, its a beautiful image. It even makes your average dvds look like they are HD streaming quality. My one and only complaint is the remote. The remote has shortcut buttons for Netflix and it's easy to accidently hit, exiting whatever you were doing.
