was happy with my new tv until a black shadow appeared at top of screen. tried several things but when use cable connection it is there. searched online and see multiple comments regarding hardware issues. i'll be talking with samsung but very disappointed.

This is the first TV that I have purchased in over 5 years, the leap in technology is jaw dropping. I loved it so much, that I bought 2 more of the same 8 series 50" model. 1 more for the office and 1 more for my home. Looking forward to installing a soundbar in the future when I have some time.

within 2.5 months of plugging it in, the tv stopped working. it power cycles when plugged in now. had the local company who i purchased from come out in hope s of just being exchanged for something else and nope. they are going to start replacing boards in the tv instead. i've owned the tv since june 26, 2020 first plugged in a few weeks later. stopped working on 10/12/2020. i had confidence in samsung as i had bought several over smaller tvs for other rooms in our home, a fridge and dishwasher years ago and have had 0 issues. now i'm waiting on the other 3 samsung tv's i have that are less than 18 months old to start doing the same thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good Surprise was the many Samsung TV channelsPoor surprise was that my mute on my cable box controller does not work any more. - have to use the Samsung controller.It is a little difficult to get to caption on-off control. Was one button on my cable box controller.Screen is a little too reflective - have to make certain lights are turned off in the room.Over-all generally pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV for the bedroom. I needed a Smart TV with WiFi and all of the video streaming platforms including Hbo max. It if the box, the colors and contrast need to be tweaked, afterwards you are greeted with a good picture. The addition of the Netflix and Prime buttons on this year's remote are a nice touch. Bluetooth works well. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

My memory is maxed out and they want me to call or it will reset to factory settings. I wish i waited. I have a samsung phone to. I always say if its not broken dont fix it. With business i always say prior planning prevents poor performance. Only if we all could live by all the p's.

I would recommend anyone to get this brand or specific tv I purchased! This is my 2nd tv so far. No regrets at all. They have awesome setting options as closed captioning preference. I'm Deaf and this is cloud 9 for me.

I don't have to search for inputs, it's all there always. Can't say enough about the picture quality, makes me wanna upgrade for a QLED to see how better it can be.
