I get free news with the Samsung Tv app. I get all my apps that I love. The best part is if I turn on the video game the TV automatically knows what time it is turns on and boom Games on. The only thing I wish was added is CrunchyRoll. But, that's fine I have my PlayStation for that. I am very please with the work Samsung puts into there TVs and I can't wish for anything else. Has many great features and apps that are already installed. I only had this TV for a short period of time and is the only tv that I watch when I have time to watch.-Picture quality is dynamic-As for sound I am using wired speakers for my basement so I couldn't comment on sound system.-Remote is sleek and simple

This one really caught my eye because even at 65” the picture quality matched the higher priced models (my opinion), yet very affordable! It's smart, so it has all the apps already. This helped clean up some redundant devices and cables. Remote is simple and easy - almost replaced all other device remotes. It paired easily with my satellite and blue ray player. I'm very happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so far, i really don't have any major gripes. i am very much used to a 1080 display. this tv definitely makes movies and tv programming much clearer. at first it almost looked to clear lol the speakers are a upgrade from my other tv. you can connect your smart samsung phone to your tv, via app, to do multiple things. you connect a bluetooth speaker to the tv. the remote is weird and different. but you can turn on your cable box just by selecting spectrum guide. you also use a bixby voice command on the remote. it was easy to set up. i did it by myself. installing the legs was quite easy. ok, so my only gripe is that sometimes it looks like there a trail or even a slight glitch in the picture. not sure what it is, but i have noticed it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is great! Not only is the picture crystal clear and sharp with great brightness and deep blacks, the apps are easy to use and plentiful. I just pay for Internet service and not cable, but this TV fully allows me to watch all my favorite shows and even discover new ones. I appreciate that I am able to reorganize the apps on the Home Screen and the ambient features are both beautiful and functional. Very happy that I purchased this TV and think it's the best value for its size and the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say this latest version is a rock-star! I finally upgraded my UN40KU6300 (2016) to this model and couldn't be happier! I am LOVING the integrated 'Smart Remote' that just works! I had a similar remote with my last set but this one adds Alexa to the mix! Great move Samsung. The only complaint, and a mild one, is the position of the quick access buttons under the volume and channel selectors. For the first couple of weeks, I was constantly hitting them. The set-up is ridiculously simple! The initial wizard was accurate and detected everything I connected without issue. I completed it in under 15 minutes from Box to playing games on my Xbox. (I do have an IT background but this set is really easy to set up!) I love the fact that I just select 'optical' and I can control my surround system! The colors are bright, clear, and super sharp. To me the whole picture quality is great. Everything is customizable to tailor to an individuals taste. If you live by the Samsung ecosystem and have a newer Samsung Smart Phone, the two integrate seamlessly allowing you to push videos and other content with ease. The selection of Applications to use is pretty good. Seems like more are being added all the time. Netflix, Prime Video, and Samsung TV Plus are quick linked on the remote and offer a ton of programming. Samsung TV Plus has a plethora of free channels with minimal commercials. Great features with an affordable price, Samsung really came though with this one! Thanks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound and picture is great but every couple of times when i turn on my xbox, the screen gets too bright and it wont stop until i restart the tv and xbox. Also the refresh rate of only 60hz is evident as the tv freezes sometimes.

i bought this tv to replace an old samsung plasma tv that i bought about 12 years or so ago. that tv still works great so i put it in the bedroom and will continue to use it. the picture quality and features of the tu8000 are amazing! the screen size is perfect for my space and it weighs almost nothing compared to the old plasma which i hated having to manipulate because it always took 2 people to move it. i didn't think i would use the smart option since i have an apple tv, but the setup and ease of operation has won me over. i can even send my apple device displays directly to the tu8000 through the built-in apple airplay. you won't be disappointed in this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased two Samsung tvs. One is a 50” The Frame which is in the living room and this tv. Both are excellent tvs but The Frame cost considerably more. However the picture quality on this tv seems just as good as The Frame.
