I love the safety of britax but our britax Boulevard click right has 2 screws that have fallen out. One screw is also striped so we can't loosen to get the foam piece back in place. Doesn't make you feel real good about your child riding in a car seat that the screws fall out. These are not cheap car seats and I ha ent been able to find replacement screws on the website. We have only had this car seat about 2 years.

After searching for sooo long to find a new car seat we went with this one. Though I trust it and it seems very sturdy and safe, we absolutely hate the crotch buckle. It is already a struggle putting a squirming baby into a car seat and this buckle is such a pain every time. Also there isn't much give on the straps, my 9 months old cant even wear a thin jacket in this seat or it is too tight. Wish I had tried it out in a store first... Very disappointed!!

I received the Britax Boulevard ClickTight Convertible Car Seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Right out of the box, my first impressions were that it look like a really nice car seat and it was a very good quality. It was ready to install right from the get go. We received the Contour Black color and it looks really nice, especially with the black interior of my truck. After unboxing, I began reading the instruction manual and in that time my 4-year old sat in the seat and said “Wow, Dad! This seat is really comfortable, come sit next to me!” Next, I began installing it in my truck. I used it with my 2-year old, so I installed it rear facing. The feature on this seat that made it stand out from other car seats I have used was the ClickTight feature that allowed the seat to open upward, similar to the hood of a car opening up. This allowed me to easily loop the seat belt through and install the car seat. After the seat belt was looped and tightened, I pushed the seat back down and it snapped into place. Buckling my daughter into the car seat was easy as well. However, the one small issue I had was pushing the button to loosen the seatbelt harness when removing my daughter. It was kind of tough/annoying to push the button, but only a small issue. Another issue I had was the lack of cup holders. My kids always had snacks or drinks in their cup holders in their previous car seats, so the lack of cup holders was a bummer because my daughter had no where to put her snack or drinks on longer car rides. I only used it in one position and rear facing, but it was very easy to switch the seat to different position and adjusting the headrest was simple also. I love that the seat can be adjusted to so many position and also be used rear-facing and forward-facing, so I'll be able to use it for a very long time.

I bought this seat a couple days ago. The click tight install was a bit of a pain. But over all. Great comfortable seat. Though, I agre the crotch strap is too short for extended use. Once my toddler gets bigger I can see this becoming and issue as far as buckling him in and comfort. They really should send out an longer crotch buckle.

This Britax Boulevard ClickTight Convertible car seat checks almost all the boxes on my car seat must have list. After reading the instruction manual for proper installation, I was able to get a safe and secure fitting in less than one minute. Another feature that is important to note is the flame retardant free Safewash fabric. I choose less toxic products whenever possible and knowing my child isn't exposed to these chemicals was another huge plus. I have zero complaints about this car seat, however having cup holders would be nice as my child grows. I would recommend this car seat to any parent. He's taller and skinnier than most, so the adjustable features to raise the height was easy for even me to figure out! My husband was the pro at installing it into his car - which is a two door Honda Civic SI. It fits but is very snug in the backseat (it fits MUCH easier into my four door Subaru Forrester). The car seat is rather heavy and bulky, so moving it from vehicle to vehicle could be an issue for some, but the click feature does make the installation easier than other convertible car seats. The car seat is built like a tank - very, very sturdy and you can tell the side impact protection is top notch. Let's hope we never have to test that out! The biggest con we had was adjusting the reclining position to the ideal spot for our son. It's tough to figure out where he should be on the rear facing scale (we opted for somewhere in the middle since he'll be rear facing until he's 2), and getting it just right is the toughest part. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this car seat as a gift from the weeSpring Parent Panel, which was extremely fortuitous since all my research based on safety ratings & expert reviews had already led me to believe that this was the car seat we should purchase now that our 14 month old has outgrown her infant car seat. It's fairly heavy, so as a city dweller, I intend to use it primarily when traveling long distances in a rental car or our in-laws' car (it would be a bit much to lug it around between taxi cabs and subways/buses). But it is a cinch to install, and our daughter is supremely well supported and snug when sitting in it. Also, we received it in the "metro" color -- a light grey that is much more attractive than many of the car seats and fabrics on the market -- so aesthetically, it's an A+ too.

It's super stylish and is easy to install - my husband was able to get it set up in under 10 minutes. The locking system latched securely (yet simply for me) at his chest and around his thighs. He seemed to enjoy the depth and recline of the seat. My favorite feature was the wide head rest, where my child snoozed on our journeys.
