[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I have really liked the Britax car seat. I received the Britax Boulevard ClickTight Convertible Car Seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Right out of the box, my first impressions were that it look like a really nice car seat and it was a very good quality. It was ready to install right from the get go. We received the Contour Black color and it looks really nice, especially with the black interior of my truck. After unboxing, I began reading the instruction manual and in that time my 4-year old sat in the seat and said “Wow, Dad! This seat is really comfortable, come sit next to me!” Next, I began installing it in my truck. I used it with my 2-year old, so I installed it rear facing. The feature on this seat that made it stand out from other car seats I have used was the ClickTight feature that allowed the seat to open upward, similar to the hood of a car opening up. This allowed me to easily loop the seat belt through and install the car seat. After the seat belt was looped and tightened, I pushed the seat back down and it snapped into place. Buckling my daughter into the car seat was easy as well. However, the one small issue I had was pushing the button to loosen the seatbelt harness when removing my daughter. It was kind of tough/annoying to push the button, but only a small issue. Another issue I had was the lack of cup holders. My kids always had snacks or drinks in their cup holders in their previous car seats, so the lack of cup holders was a bummer because my daughter had no where to put her snack or drinks on longer car rides. I only used it in one position and rear facing, but it was very easy to switch the seat to different position and adjusting the headrest was simple also. I love that the seat can be adjusted to so many position and also be used rear-facing and forward-facing, so I'll be able to use it for a very long time.

They are now 2.5 years old, forward facing and still love it! I can easily move it from our van to SUV without any problems! I love the ease with which I can install it and trust that it's secure. I also love the fact that when I hear the "click" I know that my twins are secrured correctly! I would definitely recommend this product to any mom or dad!

So my husband and I looked at tons of different options for our son for a convertible car seat. We had Britax B-Safe car seats and had wanted to stay with their line of stuff since we loved them so much. After much research on reviews from different people we decided to go with the britax boulevard click tight. It is so easy to install and so easy to remove. Yes it is big a bulky taking up space in the back seat. But how I see it is my little guy is safe and secure. His care seat doesn't wiggle around like other ones I have seen and he has lots of padding and cushion. He falls asleep in it very comfortably when we go places. And it has plenty of room for him to grow into it and we dont have to flip him to forward facing for a long time which is nice.

I purchased a Boulevard ClickTight about 3 months ago and have been using it ever since. We also have a Marathon (non-ClickTight) and a Frontier 90 ClickTight that we've had for much longer so I was already aware of the amazing quality and features Britax has to offer. The ease of installation with the ClickTight feature is unbeatable. So simple! We are currently using it rear facing with a 21 month old who weighs about 24 pounds and is average height for his age. I haven't found myself thinking he looks even slightly uncomfortable or scrunched up. He has plenty of room and never complains about being in the seat. I like the harness click feature, although I do find that usually the first click is not near tight enough for my liking. But I supposed it would help people who may not know much about car seat safety to get the harness more secure than without. The cupholder is a bit of a pain - it took forever for me to realize where it should attach and there are no videos online that I could find. You also have to remove the cupholder to uninstall the seat, which is a bit difficult and I have already scratched a bit of the plastic off on both the attachment piece and the actual shell of the car seat in doing so. My main complaint and really the only real issue of this seat - and why I am giving it 4 stars - is that the crotch strap is SO short! I know many have said this and I did read that in the reviews before purchasing, however I didn't think it would be a huge concern because he is so skinny. It's definitely doable but buckling him in was so much easier in the Marathon. If it weren't for this flaw, I would really love this seat over anything else. But this one shortcoming is really making me miss the Marathon and tempts me to switch back to it for our main seat. Once the buckling process is completed, I do soon forget how much annoyance the short buckle gives me. I have heard Britax is not coming out with a longer replacement strap but I am hoping I am wrong and they release a more realistic length strap. Especially if I'm going to continue to use the Boulevard ClickTight for years in the future. Overall, we do love this seat, the ClickTight feature is so simple and quick, it's comfortable for baby and compact enough to rear face behind the driver's seat in my small SUV, and because it's Britax, the safety features are top notch.

I bought 3 different Britax convertible car seats. The click tight boulevard and marathon proved to be heavy and difficult to work with compared to the plain Marathon Roundabout G4.1 which was easier to adjust and this made me feel more confident in my daughters safety.

THE SAFETY FEATURES OF THE CAR SEAT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. THINGS OF NOTE THAT WILL BE IMPORTANT TO POTENTIAL BUYERS. *ALL CAR SEATS ARE TRICKY TO INSTALL FOR THE FIRST TIME SO DONT JUDGE BY YOUR FIRST ATTEMPT. THIS CAR SEAT IS EASY TO INSTALL SAFELY AND SECURELY. I PREFER USING THE RESTRAINT OVER THE LATCH FOR MULTIPLE REASONS. OVERALL SAFETY, EASE OF USE AND QUIET HONESTLY THE HOOKS ARENT MY FAVORITE. THE CLICKTIGHT DOES NEED SOME FORCE TO GET IT TO "CLICK TIGHT," THEREFORE I SUGGEST PUTTING YOUR BODY WEIGHT INTO IN DOWNWARD. I WILL TELL YOU THAT ONCE SECURE IT DOES MAKE THE CAR SEAT SUPER SECURE (PEACE OF MIND). THE CAR SEAT RESTRAINT IS THE BEST IMO, I WOULD SUGGEST THAT IF YOUR CHILD IS MORE THAN 20LBS TO MOVE THE BUCKLE FORWARD. THE FIRST INSERT FOR THE BUCKLE SEEMS MORE FOR INFANTS RATHER THAN TODDLERS..MY SON WAS LITERALLY SITTING ON IT AND WAS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO BUCKLE NOT TO MENTION HE WAS UNCOMFORTABLE. AS WITH EVERYTHING THERE ARE SOME MINOR THINGS THAT I WOULD CONSIDER "CONS" BUT NOT ENOUGH TO DETER ME FROM RETURNING THE CAR SEAT. THE CLICK AND SAFE HARNESS IS POSITIONED A LITTLE LOW ON THE CAR SEAT AND YOU SHOULD BE CONSCIENCE OF LIFTING IT BEFORE LOWERING THE SEAT TO THE CLICKTIGHT UPON INSTALLATION. OH! AND IT DOESNT COME WITH A CUP-HOLDER STANDARD! I DONT MIND PAYING THE HIGH PRICE BUT GIVE ME A CUP HOLDER.. LASTLY, TO REMOVE THE CAR SEAT I SUGGEST AGAIN TO PUT YOUR WEIGHT DOWN ON THE SEAT THEN PUSH AND TURN THE CLICKTIGHT RELEASE BUTTON. THIS IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE IT INSTALLED CORRECTLY..IT NEEDS A LITTLE FORCE. ALL SAID, IT IS VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND IS VERY SAFE. MY SON DOES NOT SWEAT IN IT LIKE SOME COMPETITORS SEATS AND FITS WELL INTO MY LUXURY SEDAN.

Had the Marathon with my son 10 years ago, my husband has a Marathon in his car now, and we also had the infant seat. LOVE LOVE LOVE Britax! This seat is the most difficult to move back and forth to other cars but still pretty easy and I can do it myself in a matter of minutes! Love how solid and protected my daughter is in it.

I purchased this online about a month ago but my 15 month old daughter used it for the first time yesterday. I kept putting off installing it in the car because I was afraid it was going to be a difficult process. Once I adjusted the straps and had the right fit for my daughter it took less than 5 minutes to install in the car! I bought the Boulevard so that I can keep her rear facing longer. She was okay in her infant carrier because she could see me. I was afraid with the height of the headrest she wouldn't like this seat but she was still able to see me. She seemed to like it and I love it because I know she is safe. Love the quick adjust harness! Only feature I don't like is that you cannot recline the seat unless the child is in the seat. This is my 1st Britax purchase but know it won't be the last! Great product!

In November 2021, we were hit by a bus. My 4 year old daughter was sitting gin the middle seat, forward facing. Our car was totaled. She didn't have any injuries. The following day she had two small bruises on her legs where the car seat harness held her firmly in place. I am so grateful for this car seat and how easy it was to install and adjust to my child's size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this car seat for over 6 months now and absolutely love it. It's super easy to install and uninstall because of the click tight feature. The entire seat opens up making it easy to thread the seat belt onto the car seat. the fabric is also really good. My daughter sweat a lot less compared to the old boulevard fabric. I also totally love the fabric design. We own the kaleidoscope.
