[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this seat for our one year olds birthday, when we fell in love with the brand and all the features they offer. We were looking for a long lasting seat for our tall boy who is 37" and 30lbs at 20 months old. He is comfortably rear facing and will be for a long time thanks to the high height limits of this seat. Now that we are expecting baby number two we are planning to buy a infant seat from britax as well as another boulevard clicktight. Even my husband who hates installing car seats finds this so easy to install and it takes less than 30 seconds to do. So much padding it makes me jealous :)

I bought this seat yesterday and I was SO excited about it. Unfortunately I have to return it today. My 21 month old, 25pounder fits great in the seat. Except the crotch buckle. The crotch buckle is SO short! Even in the outer slot. I love britax and their customer service but unfortunately, I'll have to pass on this seat. So upset by this as I was looking forward to the rerelease of this seat, but I was let down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received my Britax Boulevard ClickTight Convertible Car Seat in Contour Gray from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We installed the seat for my 2 year old who was ready for a forward facing seat. When deciding to change her to forward facing, the first thing we thought about was her safety! As you would for any product, we checked for the safety ratings, and they were superior ratings. As we installed the seat, we already knew based on the weight and the install methods, we felt secure about what we had read. The seat has a bottom section that lifts to allow the seat belt to run through and under the seat section, which made it so secure it wouldn't even move when we tried and that was before we also anchored it into the back of the seat. The mechanic for the opening of this section requires a twist of a lock, which a child would never be able to do, so it would be nearly impossible for it to ever open up without an adult needing to do so. The instructions that come with it give you different options for what you can use to install the seat so you should definitely read it prior and know which method you are using! We had not done this and it took longer than it needed, but whenever we have to move the seat in the future, we will be able to do it in a few minutes. The fabric of the seat shout high quality! They are soft and durable but most importantly, washable! Since we have a toddler who now loves to snack on the go…washable is key! The insert of the seat is called contour gray. It is a lighter gray than our previous seat and I'm excited that it will not show every single spill as our darker car seat previously had. The seat is missing one important feature if you have an independent little one like I do…cup holders! I have since looked and you can add accessory cupholders. The seat width is comfortable for a child, and it is more streamlined than seats that have built in cupholders. If you have a smaller vehicle or multiple seats, this is probably a plus! You will not have to spare safety and comfort for a smaller width seat. Another plus for security is the flame-retardant fabric! Overall this has been a great addition to the needs of our family…the clicktight seat belt feature is by far our favorite! Car seats are all about safety and this has that plus a great look and feel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this convertible car seat for my child! I was amazed at the simplicity of the installation process. Once it is installed correctly it does not move around at all which is why I feel like this is the safest car seat she has ever had. The material is soft, easy to clean, and she says it is very comfortable. The straps glide smoothly through the car seat, making it easy to get the perfect fit every time she rides in it. The only con I found is that it is lower in my SUV than I thought it would be which makes it harder for her to see out the window. However, I believe the pros definitely outweigh that one con which is why I still gave the product 5 stars. I received this convertible car seat in the to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review.

I replaced my son's Diono Radian RXT with this seat... and it was a terrible choice. The release to loosen the straps isn't easy for me to reach, I cannot get it to recline, and the crotch buckle is way too low when you're trying to strap in a child in the middle seat. This is by far the worst seat I've owned.

I PURCHASED THE CLICKTIGHT SPLASH 4 MONTHS AGO AND THE FABRIC ON THE CAR SEAT HAS 2 HOLES IN NOW. WE USE IT ON A DAILY BASIS BUT I FEEL IT SHOULDN'T BE FALLING APART. WE MOVE IT TO ANOTHER VECHICLE SELDOMLY AND THAT IS A LITTLE BIT MORE CONVIENENT BUT I FEEL THE PRODUCT HAS SOME DOWNFALLS THAT I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT. INSTALLATION ISN'T AS EASY AS THE DEMO STATES AND DOESN'T ALWAYS CLICK TIGHTLY. I AM NOT SURE IT WAS WORTH THE BUY. WE HAD A CHICCO INFANT SEAT BEFORE AND I WAS HAPPIER WITH THAT THAN THIS PURCHASE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this carseat when my son was 7 months old and have been using it since he will be 2 in august , it is a bit costly compared to other carseats but has been well worth the money , we love the click tight system no threading belts through tiny holes at the back is great. The steel in thr frame is very good makes it that much safer along with the anti rebound bar! Britax has been a very good conpany to deal with for any question or concerns i had! Will purchase agian for my next child! In love! Great for extend rear facing to ! That being my main purchasing reason!

I bought this carseat when my daughter outgrew her infant carseat. I have been extremely pleased with this purchase. The click-tight feature is well worth the money and makes transferring the carseat stress-free--so much so that I could do it in the airport pick-up line in just a few minutes! It seriously is perfectly tight and secure, every time. The carseat feels sturdy and I love the ARB option. The back of the carseat appears sleek as the structure is covered by a plastic mold.

Biggest selling feature: Knowing my kid and the seat will always be properly secured/installed no matter who they are traveling with! I love that it has a 10 year expiration, younger sibling(s) can also get good use out of it! I was a little worried that installation and Click&Safe harness would be to good to be true, but I am VERY happy with it and it works just like the videos show! Rear facing I do occasionally have to make sure the cover is not in the way, in order for it to click easily, the fabric just slides a little bit as the seat gets pushed down into the vehicle seat. I think every car seat should have a "foolproof" installation! My tall & skinny 1 year old should fit rear facing for a long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my 2 year old. The fabric is different from our advocate that we also have. It collects dirt and hair easily. The seat is just as roomy as our advocate just without the big air bubbles on the side. I gave this seat 4 stars because I hate that britax didn't use the same latch connectors that they have for their infant bases, their click tight frontiers, and their older version seats. They now have the cheaper clip latch mechanisms and it makes it harder to undo the latch so you unlock the click tight if you need to take the seat out to clean. Also I loved how the older version was easier to take apart to clean and was machine washable. The newer seats are not. Overall it's still a great seat and a must for any parent!
