With all the hurricanes we have in Florida we needed a generator that could preform and that we could rely on. This generator packs a punch. The fact that it's tri-fuel is an added bonus. It's easy to operate and powerful enough to run everything we need in an emergency.

Living in Florida, I purchased this generator for power backup in case a storm knocks out the electrical grid in my area. I haven't used it yet, but it appears to function. It is big and heavy though. It probably wouldn't work well as an RV generator.

I bought the Tri fuel to power my home during outages. Assembly was very easy as all you need is a 14mm wrench and socket to attach front feet. I opted for a different oil (5W-20 full synthetic) as recommended by manufacturer due to very cold temps when I will need to run the generator. Typically power goes out in the Mat-Su Valley when winter wind storms drive temps down to -30 below and lasts for several days. This generator will work wonderfully to power my well pump and any heating appliance I have inside the house so my pipes won't freeze and burst. The Tri Fuel option is just icing on the cake in case the local fuel stations are still without power.

I bought this generator 3 month ago when a storm was coming. I found it incredibly easy to set up. It started right away and performs very well. I love the fuel choices. I'm going to put in on Nat gas so I can just plug in the hose , hit the start and i'm good for a long as the power is out. This generator is an excellent value.

Easy to set up wheels. Came with oil and funnel. Starting guide was easy to follow. I did a test run by fueling the generator with natural gas. I also ran my central a/c unit with no problems. I will be testing the generator out on more appliances to see how much more it can handle, before I invest in a transfer switch. With fuel prices as they are now. I can see the fuel prices jump beyond 5$ to 6$ a gallon, during hurricane season and long lines at the pump.

I am very satisfied with this product it comes with all you need. I live in Texas and with climate changing rapidly and hurricane seasons this type of equipment make a lot of sense. I was able to installed a 30 amp RV receptacle 4 prongs to my house main beaker panel and plus I have natural gas at home which is cheaper and do not have to store propane or gas. I tested and I was able to run the whole house (2000 sq ft) and run a water heater, Central A/C, Refrigerator and all the usual household electronics such as TVs, lights, microwave etc. I love this product so much.

Chose the tri-fuel model in order use NG instead of gasoline. With an outside 30 amp plug and a soft-start on my central AC unit the generator has plenty of power for the AC in addition to TV/internet and multiple ceiling lights. The unit starts easily and runs great. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants reliable back up power.

This is my first generator, so I had no idea what to expect. It is pretty heavy, so until assembled you need a hand truck or two strong people to move it. Very easy to assemble, and as a first time portable generator operator, I appreciate the safety tips and instructions in the owners manual. I did experience problem with registration. I filled out all the information except for downloading receipt(which it says is optional)and received error message. I tried registering twice and got the same message with out any clear instruction on what the problem was.

This generator was purchased for use during a power outage primarily during extreme cold or hot weather and to stay online for work during the outage. Really wanted a generator that ran on propane or natural gas, so as to eliminate the hassle of storing gasoline and the maintenance associated with gas operation as a few day outage can use allot of gas. Followed the instruction and ran the unit on propane as a test run and was very pleased. The electric start cranked it right over and after a slight choke adjustment ran like a charm. Plan to make easy connection for natural gas. Highly recommend the Champion Tri-Fuel generator.

Generator runs really well on gasoline and not as loud I expected. Was able to power many essentials items in my home using the 30A receptacle. However, have had difficulty starting on either propane or natural gas, even though I followed the instructions in the manual and read all the reviews concerning this. Spoke with Technical Support and they believe it might be an issue with the pressure regulator. Will have to swap the regulator to see if that resolves it. The tri-fuel capability was the primary reason I purchased this brand.
