I ordered a generator from another vendor only to find out that the natural gas requirement was too high for what my home has and the plumbers hooking up the gas recommended Champion. I ordered the 8000-watt tri-fuel and got a higher output generator that started right up and has worked flawlessly since. Very happy with this purchase.

Last year for Hurricane Ida, we used a generator with a natural gas conversion on it, but it with nat gas, it was derated too much to run some of the things we wanted (not needed). My neighbor took my advice and when he purchased a gen before the storm and he got this model. After the storm, i tested out his gen on my nat gas drop and transfer switch and was so impressed that I wanted one for our use. I ordered it in March and did the simple assembly process and added oil. Once connected to the nat gas, it's been running without any issues (i had concerns with the pressure drop in the 25' long hose). Should finish up the break in, change the oil and we will be GTG for the next outage. Not having to look for gasoine is a HUGE benefit in a significant power outage and having 7kW available should be more than enough for our needs.

I bought this generator in order to supply power to a couple refrigerators and some needed power in case of emergencies. I have not yet used it but I can tell that it is very well built right out of the box. The instructions appear to be very easy to follow.

I decided to purchase a generator after a hurricane left my family without power for a few days. After considerable research, I decided to purchase the Champion 8000-watt Tri Fuel generator. I did a test run of the generator using propane, and it started without any issues. It also had no issues powering the devices I need it to power. I'm looking to get a natural gas line run so that I can use that instead of propane. It is a loud generator, but that is to be expected given the size. I hope I don't need to use it too often, but now I have peace-of-mind for when the next storm knocks out the power for a few days.

THIS BABY IS A BEAST ON NATURAL GAS. STARTED FIRST TIME AND EVERY TIME OUT OF THE BOX. BLEW MY ELECTRICIAN'S MIND WHEN I RAN A 5 TON A/C, 3 REFERS, AND ANYTHING ELSE I WANTED. WHO NEEDS PG&E? TALK ABOUT ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY, YOU COULD PUT YOUR MOUTH ON THE EXHAST. THERE IS NO EXHAUST FUMES. THIS BABY WILL NEVER SEE A DROP OF GASOLINE. I HAVE ALL THE JUICE I NEED WITH NATURAL GAS. Been thinking about a generator for a long while. A couple of times I've done the research and decided on this one, but never pulled the trigger. Recently the temperature was -14 and the power went out. It was only out a couple hours, but you just never know. This thing is a beast (in a good way). It was easy to set up. Started quickly, even the first time and runs the whole house. All the controls seemed overwhelming at first, but once you go through it, it's really very easy. Very glad I got it and sure I made the right choice.

This generator was put together pretty quickly easily read directions quick start guide was awsome and then it fired up immediately and that put a smile on my face ran for 5 hours changed oil and then ran for 40 more before power came back on so glad i bought this brand recommended by my buddies.i to will recommend. Like most, I reviewed many alternatives prior to choosing this generator. Features & functionality of this unit met all of needs and then the Tri Fuel closed the deal for me. I plan to use NG as my primary energy source once the plumbing is complete. Assembly was quick and easy and I started the break-in using LPG. Couldn't happier!

Received the Generator a few days ago. I recently put it together and ran it through the 5hour break-in cycle. So far, so good. Runs smoothly and seems to be well built but only time will tell. The natural gas feature is what drove me to buy this model so I can run it indefinitely off my gas meter with out monitoring the fuel. The only thing I wish this generator had was a wattage meter reading.

I love the fact that it is Tri Gas. We lose power a lot in this area and the champion generator works flawlessly to take care of it, I've never had a problem with it. The only thing i would suggest is a better tire, I don't think they will last long.
