This generator is a total beast of a workhorse. The Tri fuel feature is the absolute best. When everyone else is waiting in gas station lines for dues and paying tons per gallon I just sit back and connect to my natural gas line and have an u limited supply without ever having to leave the house. Simple start up and so easy to operate. Has all the power needed to run all the essentials and then some. Best purchase I've made in a long time. It's an insurance policy you can actually use!

Out of the box, there were no issues. Ran it for 5 hours (break in period) and it did what it was supposed to do. Loud, but i expected that. I love the fact that it runs off natural gas. No storing gas or propane. I already had a natural gas line ran to my grill so it was an easy connection to make. So far so good.

Someone really thought through every detail for the design of this generator. Short term storage instructions say to remove drain bolt on carburetor, smart. Most small engine instructions never say this. Only issue I had during assembly was the frame appears to be aluminum or light gauge metal, and the frame tube was squeezing when fastening feet. Oil drain hose, again, smart! I like engineers who give thorough thought towards maintenance on small engines. Although I haven't had a chance to use the generator too it's full capacity, initial impression is great.

I live in south Louisiana and experience occasional hurricanes. Sometimes left with no power for weeks. The Tri-fuel generator is a life saver! Especially because I can hook it up to natural gas. We could not find a gas station open for weeks. This generator can power all the essential appliances and keep us cool in 100 degree weather. very satisfied with this purchase!

Just received my Champion 8000W/10000W Electric Start Tri-Fuel Gas Propane Natural Gas Generator Yesterday. Today, I assembled the generator I ran it through it 5-hour break in. I followed the instructions for Natural gas hook-up which was a breeze. I had the quick connects from a previous generator so the tie-in was the same. As a test I loaded the generator with a small A. C., Light duty Freezer and Light duty Refrigerator and the generator handled all without issue. Meets my needs! Would buy again!

Hurricane season is no fun! We frequently lose power each hurricane season. We desperately needed a generator with the "Tri-Fuel" option. We now have a natural gas line to power the Champion Tri-Fuel 100416. (No more storing gas / hunting for gas after a hurricane). Assembly was a breeze! First start up was electrical start with NG line- had to play with the choke more than I expected but it started up!!!

A Life Saver, The Envy of my friends I waited 6 months for this generator to be back in-stock, it was worth the wait and just in time. I received my generator on Aug. 15th two weeks later, to the day, Hurricane Ida hit Louisiana. We lost power at 9:30 in the morning of the hurricane, I started running the generator then. After the hurricane, gas became scarce, people waited in gas lines for over 7 hours. I had the generator hooked up to natural gas and didn't need to wait in those lines, I could concentrate on recovering from the storm and not those long lines. I only ran the generator at night after the storm passed and put over 170 hours on this wonderful machine and never had a problem. Twelve days after the storm, I got power back. All of my friends and family are now trying to order this generator.

It connects to my home gas line, takes a few minutes to purge the natural gas line and it is running. No more worries about getting gas for the generator. You can take it anywhere and use gas, propane, or natural gas. I have only used it on natural gas so far. Runs great.

Very impressed with quality of the generator ,great that it included oil and connection hose,s for LP and Natural Gas, wheel kit is also a plus since generator is quiet heavy. The trifuel is the reason I purchased this model, finally can operate the unit on my home natural gas supply ( no fuel storage or contamination issue,s).

This is the third Champion Generator I have for multiple homes. I have used them through Hurricanes and rolling blackouts. The Tri-Fuel Generator is the most versatile with the Natural Gas fuel option. I have it connected to my home with a generator switch on the main panel. It's a great alternative to a Whole Home system.
