After going through the Texas ice storm of 2021 with a small gas generator, we made the decision to purchase the Tri-fuel generator to power our house. I will no longer have to worry about having or finding gas if the power goes out again! The generator is well built and should last a long time for us.

I used this generator when we lost power for over 24 hours. I used the Natural Gas option which is a nice feature to have. I did not have to worry about my generator running out of fuel and it had enough to power to run all of my house essentials. The only downside is that it is a little loud, but not unbearable. I would Highly recommend this generator because of it's versatility.

The flexibility of the tri-fuel model is unparalleled. The box was very well packaged and crated--no damage inside. Instructions were straight forward and clear--everything needed is included. Love the hoses, funnel, oil, etc. I just wish there were quick disconnects to go with the natural gas hose. Unit started right up after I followed the instructions and has been fault free. If the longevity lives up to the Champion name, this should be a "no-brainer" buy. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased this Tri-Fuel Generator and noticed that it large dent in the top of the fuel tank. I contacted Champion and they sent a new tank free of charge. I own 2 Champion generators and both have worked flawlessly. My smaller quieter generator starts first pull every time without issue. I love Champion products so much that I recently purchased a 27 ton log splitter. It's hard to find good power equipment nowadays with exceptional quality service. Champion has definitely earned my future business.

Living in South East Texas we get hurricanes and other bad weather that causes loss of electricity, sometimes for days. I already had a Generac gasoline generator, which did a good job, but required filling with gas and was pull start. The Champion Tri Fuel allows the use of natural gas which is a huge advantage. It also has an electric start which makes it easier for me and my wife to start when needed. The hardest part was getting a natural line ran to where the generator is placed. I also installed a manual transfer switch with a remote outside plug to safely energize some of my home's breakers during a power failure. Since I valve out the natural gas and remove the hose when not in use, when the generator is started for the first time it takes a little while to crank because of the air in the line. After the first crank, it starts much faster. Overall, the fact that it is tri fuel made purchasing a second generator well worth the money.

This is the third generator from Champion I have owned the second one got me through the last hurricane for seven days in 2021. With the law changes here I bought the electric start and will have a buried tank to better combat the next hurricane. They are dependable at a great price. I plan to proudly ware my new T shirt.

I wanted a portable generator that would run on natural gas which freed me from the hassle of storing extra gasoline and treating it for long-term storage. I received this generator a week ago and it was delivered to my garage. Despite some damage to the shipping box the generator was well-protected and not damaged at all. The assembly and set-up was easy and instructions were clear. The included 25-foot natural gas hose was a real plus and allowed me to connect to an existing gas line under my outdoor deck. I only had to purchase a quick-connect fitting for the supply end of the hose and modify my gas line for a new connection. The generator started up and ran as expected and I applied varying electrical loads during the 5-hour beak-in period. Changing the engine oil after this was easy with the special drain hose and the included long-neck funnel. Despite its weight the fold-down handle makes moving the generator fairly easy. This generator has output connections for many types of devices and numerous safety features built in. I plan to use this only as a back-up power source for critical appliances during a power failure and it is much more economical than a whole house back-up system.

I just recived the generator, i like the 3 fuel system also i can use the 1/2 inch natural gas line i have already ran out to my grill. It starts easy and runs great i l also like the CO2 detector. The unit was too close to my deck and the C)O2 detected worked great and shut it down.

I am using this generator to power our home basics during our frequent power outages. We have a transfer panel and the hope is that this can run Central AC/heat, fridge and some basic lights and things. I'm realistic in that we won't be running washing machine, dryer and dishwasher at same time but I believe this will handle the basics for comfort nicely. Running it with NG (sole reason I bought tri-fuel) It started up beautifully and ran strong. I'm still load testing and breaking in but so far it's great!

I needed something to replace my old manual start generator. When I saw this electric start with the natural gas option I was sold. I finally had a chance to fire it up. It was so easy. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) the power came back on before I could connect it to the house wiring. So far I'm impressed.
