The container us a godsend for bringing soup to work as my lunch. It never leaked through all the bumping around in my bag! It washed very well, never leaving stains. Even came clean after I microwaved spaghetti in it. No orange stains all. I was so impressed I went back and bought more.

Rubbermaid is one of our favorite brands, it’s affordable and good quality. I honestly prefer glass but this plastic one is good too. I try to be conscious about what I store in it to avoid stains and odors. Overall I’m happy and like the product but I do prefer glass.

Even for soup and most importantly its stain resistant? Yeah right! But really, it does all those things and more! It'd 100% leak proof in all the tests I tried. I shook it like crazy, my kids went wild. It even made it through a bumpy walk in a backpack, zero leaks! Yes, it can be microwaved too! Just pop it in the microwave, lid and all, make sure you lift up the handles as that's where the vents are and you have a perfectly microwaved dish! Most importantly, would it be stainproof? It actually is, I used my most staining bright red dish to test out this container and even after sitting overnight, microwaving, and being left out, it washed up nice, I washed it by hand too! This container far exceeded my expectations and the price is actually decent!

Lids close perfectly, even after dropping it the rice did not spilled. I would love to get more for my tools in my shop.

I love how it is spill free for bringing soup for lunch. I was very impressed I put leftover spaghetti in the container and when it come to cleaning the container was not stained, before I would have to use a old container since the pasta sauce would always stained. I also liked that the lid can stay on this container while microwaving which makes it nice to not have to constantly watch or clean the microwave of splatters!

It does not leak whatsover, even when turning it upside down, perfect for camping or travelling with anything liquid, even soup! The clean up is a breeze and it stays clean, without a greasy feel. It does not stain like regular containers do, or leave a residue, I will be purchasing the larger sizes as well!

In February I bought a 20 piece set of Brilliance food storage containers. I really researched to find a storage container that would seal tight and not leak and last a long time. I would have preferred glass but made a concession in buying these because I felt like they would last a long time. An investment of sorts. It was really really disappointing how the containers cracked. Money down the drain and plastic in the landfill. Never again! Very unimpressed by Rubbermaid.

Bought it last week coz it looked cool and reviews were good. I dont trust any plastic lids so I always use plastic wrap(heat food for about 1-3 min in the microwave). The container walls melted the plastic wrap and now i have plastic wrap stuck the sides and parts of the insides. I never heard of any container being able to melt/bond with plastic wrap. Nowhere on the package does it say do not use with plastic wrap but it does say it on the pdf file at the 8th bullet point on the use and care instructions. Imagine that. You have to go online to figure out how to safely use a container.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Food prep is key for a successful diet, no matter the diet. Busy days and weekends can through you off from your goals. The Rubbermaid Brilliance food prep containers are that, brilliant. The clear hard plastic is several steps above your average container. It offers a locking lid that is very easy to secure and to open. No fear of splatters when trying to wrestle it open. Easy open, easy close. The containers are spill resistant which makes them great for on the go, no worries of spilling in my work bag. They are compartmentalized for easy storage with a larger and smaller side to keep foods separated. I am not a fan of my food touching so this is important to me! They are also stain resistant and microwave safe. Brilliant!
