It's secure as the rubber band around the lid makes it closes tightly also the latches add more security. It's very suitable to use in the microwave as the vents let the steam releases without making splashing or mess. I only noticed that if the food inside is too hot and lid is on the latches pop open , so i let it the steam escape before closing it for safety. It doesn't stain and easy to stack.

I pop it into the microwave with the vent open and viola, lunch is ready! It is beautifully designed in clear glass-like plastic. It washes well with no staining and it's even dishwasher safe.

I have used other brands in the past that you have to burp in order to make sure food is airtight. These are much easier to use with the locking handles on both sides. I love that they are stackable and make your pantry look well organized. Food stays fresh as if you just opened up the package. They seem to be very well made and durable. Multiple sizes for different needs are available. I am overall very pleased with this product and highly recommend them to anyone that wants to keep their food safe and fresh!

When I first opened it, I could hear the vacuum seal let go of the air, which is a very good indication of it being tight. Easy to scoop out with my measuring cups. Easy to clean. Easily fits a full bag of rice and beans, now these items stay fresh until I can finish Highly recommend.

I use food storage containers a lot since I often cook a 2 serving meal for myself and have leftovers so I usually reheat the rest the next day in those containers. The Rubbermaid Brilliance containers have solved 2 issues that I have. First, being able to heat in the container without having to remove it or cover the contents to prevent splatters because the vents allow steam to escape. This works really well. Two, its beautiful, crystal clear design. I can see what is in the container so I can easily find my supper and not forget that it is there. It looks really nice in the fridge, unlike most containers. I love that it is guaranteed not to leak so if I want to bring it somewhere I won't have to worry about making sure it doesn't get over everything. The only issue I have with it is that it is expensive. I'd love to buy a lot more of these but I don't have the budget for it. You are paying for the quality and look though. I'd recommend it!
