I bought this a few weeks ago so: - My HRV needs 3 weeks before it will be useful - There is no data on Sleep Debt as in some other apps - There is no data on Morning Recovery / Readiness / Energy - The Germin Venu 3 watch has 3 switches which are all on one side (right side when worn on left arm - left side when worn on right arm) ... On my Apple Watch the switches 'can be swopped' - The Germin Venu 3 watch cannot be worn too close to the end of the wrist - The MOST PROMINENT switch (of the 3) on The Germin Venu 3 is positioned exactly in THE MIDDLE ... This is often accidentally pressed and it then automatically starts VOICE ASSISTANT !!! This is extremely annoying.

Have been using it for nearly a month now and have loved every second of it. Simple interface that has made tracking simpler and more accurate. No longer bouncing from app to app to track different data points, it’s all right here. The battery life is by far my favorite. Instead of charging it everyday, I can go days between charges. When it does need charged, it ready quickly instead of waiting hours.

I bought this Garmin Venu 3 to replace my Apple Watch because I wanted more health tracking features than what the Apple Watch could offer. WOW am I so glad I made the switch. I had my Apple Watch for 5 years and I thought I would never part with it, but I am so glad I did. The Garmin Venu 3 has far exceeded my expectations. Here are my reviews of various features: Battery Life The battery life on this watch is incredible. I can go a full week without charging, including multiple workouts per day, wearing it to sleep, etc. HUGE perk right there. Health Tracking There are so many health tracking features on this watch, including EKG, SpO2, HRV. If you are looking to have a better grasp on health features, this watch checks many boxes. Large Screen My eyes need all the help they can get, so this large screen is really helpful. Fitness Tracking As a very active person (4 strength training days per week, 3 runs per week, and pick-up pickleball 3-5 times per week), I love having a watch that will track my progress. This watch does a great job! It also provides personalized training features based on your fitness goals! Cannot say enough great things about this watch :)

I’ve had my Venu-3 for about one month and like it very much. My 2 complaints are minor. #1, the documentation is not good. The manual is more a reference guide & less of an instruction book. It assumes you are already familiar with the terms used (like “glances”) without any explanation. My #2 is that although the watch is very customizable, there are annoying things I cannot turn off. For instance, during a quiet time (like a church service) it will vibrate to let me know it’s time to get up and be active. That said, I really like the health monitoring features like Pulse-Ox, ECG & heart rate.

Frankly, I wanted a Samsung, but the battery life was an issue. 1 or 2 days just wouldn't work. And now I know I made the right choice. I'm still learning the features and how to use the 2 apps for it. The address book is a little clunky, but functional. My old Samsung just used the phone's list while the Garmin needs to import up to 50. I've added a data watch face that has about 10 different fields and colors galour. Love that. It's a pricey watch, but it does everything I've wanted so far.

I bought the Venu a couple of weeks ago. I have worn the Vivoactive, Vivoactive 4s and the Vivoactive 5. I finally got fed-up with the inconsistency of the HRM on the 5. I decided to upgrade to the Venu (larger size) and I am very happy with the decision. It has some features that I have not had before and the HRM is more accurate. I bought a Garmin HRM 600 so I would have very accurate measures. When wearing only the Venu watch it is way more accurate than than my Vivoactive 5 was. I swim laps in the pool with it, so open water swimming and use it on my bike. I like that I can very clearly see the screen, especially while swimming. Beautiful, bright display on this watch.The battery life is better than the Vivoactive 5, and this time of year I use the GPS a lot when training outside. I like the strong vibration for alarms and notifications, but also like that this Garmin has sound. I have answered my phone and made a call from the watch. I have an iPhone so I can’t use the text option. I am still exploring features on the watch, and I’m very satisfied with this Garmin and with my decision to upgrade and spend a bit more for a better HRM and additional features.

I had needed a new smart health watch after my Fitbit versa 2 died. Took me almost a year to find the right one and if I did want to get another one. The Venu 3 came well recommended and does just about all I needed to do. It’s a great upgrade from my Fitbit. My only complaint on it is that you can’t select which apps notifications show up on the watch like the Fitbit did. Love that the battery last a full week using it almost daily for gps activity tracking something Apple can’t even come close to.

I bought the Venu 3 about 3 weeks ago. I am absolutely impressed with the features and performance of the watch. I am a watch person and previously used the Samsung Galaxy watches. This is no longer the case Garmin Venu 3 is my go to watch. I even bought the Venu Sq2. Great battery life and watch overall.

I've had my Venu3 a few weeks. Before this I had a Fenix7 and also have an old Vivoactive 3music. The Venu3 has been great for the weight and thinner width. Good all-rounder..I can save music to the device, has big easy to read screen but not thick, has golf activity which I use all summer, and the newer sensor for better health metrics. I put on an elastic nylon band and it works great, whereas it might not with a heavier watch. I have had Afib so the ECG ability is great. Other than that I can't really tell any difference in the new sensor over the Fenix. HR seems a bit slow to respond compared to a chest strap but are super accurate once things stabilize. As Afib sufferers know... watch optical HR sensors are all but useless when you are actually in arrhythmia...you need a chest strap. But other than that they match up well in my tests. Venu3 has a unique sleep coach which is a neat feature and Sleep scoring has improved over time with Garmin, although I still wouldn't bank on it exclusively if sleep tracking is vital for you. I do find the new nap detection has worked well. Nowhere near the Fenix bells and whistles in the Venu3...simplicity has its pros and cons...things I personally wish the Venu3 had: Trail Running activity (I just use Hiking when I do a trail run, which is ok...I still think adding basic Trail Running should be available..cmon Garmin). I also wish the Golf features were more up to Fenix standard, but they are not. Just the basics, but glad to have them. I found I wasn't using the built in Fenix maps much at all so I don't miss that feature as much as I thought i would really, though some of the Hill and Endurance features were fun. The Venu3 is more health and daily driver functional and not the uber outdoor watch. Running has been fine and I appreciate the lighter weight... luckily the reaction time of the wrist gesture has gotten better with these amoled screens, so you shouldn't run into poles waiting for the display to light up to useable levels. That said, the MIP is probably always going to be more consistent there. Overall I have loved the brighter Amoled screen and has been worth the tradeoff in battery. For me, width of the watch is a biggie as I wear it all day and overnight. The 12mm is a nice compromise in size and functions/battery life. As Garmin gets better battery tech and bigger watches slim down, I may look at diff models down the road. I don't mind bigger screens at all.. it's the thickness that tends to bother me over time. I'm glad battery life tech has been a priority for Garmin as it makes it a front runner for me over the Pixel watches and such for now.

I have had six prior Garmin watches, the last being a Vivoactive 4. The Venu 3 display is very bright in most cases and the ECG function is a good addition. The battery life is much better than the Vivoactive. The golf tracking is not good, yardage does not update. The lap swimming function has several problems vs the Vivoactive. Selecting the activity does not stay on unless you immediately start it. When a lap is paused a message comes up telling you how to use the button, instead of providing stats. The display is also harder to read in the water, but this may be due to goggles.
