The battery life is great - no need to charge it more often then once a week. I like the features, the style and the functionality. Coming from another major Fitness-Tracker brand I must say even the flag ship model of the other brand doesn't come close to what Garmin Venu 3 has to offer! I would love to see this watch coming with a screen protector as standard as a watch can easily scratch.

I gave my husband an EPIX for our anniversary and he loves it. He wanted me to get a Garmin too, so I did the research and waited for the Venu3 to come out. I have read the instruction manual and this watch is a dud, at least with an iPhone. I am not getting notifications on my wrist to let me know I have a text or phone call, but I click to open the notifications app and there are 25 that include business and junk emails, and calendar items not calls or texts, which is all I want. The only notification (vibration) I do get is that I am disconnected from my phone if I walk into another room, only steps away from my phone. When golfing, the golf app shows the entire route on the road and how many mile to get to the golf course, then it shows my speed at 3-6 mph. Yeah. I’m in a golf cart! It does not sense when I have hit a shot or how far it went. This watch was a gift and I don’t want to complain, but don’t waste your money. You can download a golf app onto the Fitbit sense and get front, middle back distance and not miss out on texts or calls. I am going to try to return.

Garmin Pay, music storage, and third-party apps via Connect IQ round out a great suite of smartwatch functions. Final Thoughts: If you're serious about health and fitness but also want a watch that looks good and functions well in everyday life, the Garmin Venu 3 is a fantastic choice. The Venue 3 was a Christmas gift. The watch has performed well (so far). The face is easy to read, including during workouts. Navigation through the various functions is quick and easy (once I got used to it). One piece of information that is not available through the Venue 3 (which I had on my Forerunner) is Training Effect (I suspect this was a Garmin business decision). Otherwise, very happy with the Venue 3.

Crystal clear display with exceptional battery life. The perfect blend of advanced fitness, sleep, HR tracking and smartwatch features like audio control, messaging, guided workouts. Also pairs with Peloton to be used as an HR monitor during workouts. Glad the Venu series added sensors that the Vivoactive removed. Great watch!

This arrived a few weeks ago and I thought it would have some of the features in the less expensive Vivoactive - why on a device focused on health not include smart alarms but the vivoactive does? :( Otherwise, no complaints. Love the form factor, screen, etc.

Love: Lightweight and so far, durable (I am notoriously klutzy) Has some touch screen interaction Can take calls Awesome HR tracking (I hate HR monitor straps, so this is great) Love all the Garmin workout features Redshift! flashlight!! Meditation and breath work (though I wish there was a way to turn off the voice prompts) Move alerts HRV Morning reports... OK, basically ALL the fitness features, plus I like how I can get/reply to (android phone) text messages, see emails, etc. I also like how this is more limiting than the current Android smartwatch that I own--in terms of I get notifications, etc from the Venu3 but there's a limit on how involved I can get with answering things--which I like because for me it feels like one step away from always being tied to my phone. Things I'd change/add: --customized move alert timing/time of day for the alerts --add an "I'm sick and can't workout" pause button to ease the workout guilt --Start an activity by tapping on an icon on the watch face --able to add 'time of day' to workout data screens

I'm a long time Garmin fitness tracker / smart watch user, the Venu3 is my 4th Garmin. This is by far the best. The screen is bright and easy to use. The fitness tracking is easy to use and very effective. Integration with my iphone is great. I love that this watch has a speaker. Battery life is amazing.

Been looking to replace my vivoactive 3 as it doesn’t hold a charge for a full round of golf anymore. Wanted an AMOLED screen and caught the Venu 3 on sale. Love the screen and battery life. Great watch for golf, skiing, and just as a watch. Plus you get afib detection, HR and pulse ox. The variety of screens to download and customize is unbelievable. Better than my Apple Watch by a factor of 3. Better screens. Better battery life. Apps that Apple charges for are free with the Venu 3.
