I received this for Fathers Day after constant complaints about a competitor's battery length. My son had a Venu 3 so a natural follow on for me. I changed the face to one that has what I need to monitor my daily activities, battery levels, steps, weather, and health-related items - and yes, the time as well. It took a week or so to get familiar with the user interface but I'm good now.. The integration with Apple Watch is "good" but could be better, IMHO. There are apps available on the Garmin ConnectIQ Store that have enabled me to keep my Apple Health and Peloton apps up to date. There are a ton of goals, awards, and pre-defined fitness plans and routines that I am only dipping my foot into after having the watch for a month. As for battery life? After getting the watch the first charge lasted about 8 days. I am on my second charge with the battery at 25% and still have 4 days remaining. Based on the timing my second charge will have gone 15 days - and only an hour or so to fully recharge. Overall excellent device - water resistant to 50m so I am unafraid of diving into the water with this device. I used to remove my other watch whenever I took a drink of water for fear I'd ruin that other watch (sarcasm intended). I highly recommend - I will add an updated review in 6-9 months which will enable me to comment more on the goals, rewards, and other app capability.

Finally pulled plug when they discounted the watch. It is better than my Vivoactive that I previously owned but the battery life is not. Still can’t stop notifications, I get 300+ emails a day, and battery is lucky to last 3 days. Overall the watch is way better than the Apple Watch I used after my band failed on the Vivoactive.

This watch replaced a Fitbit that was four years old, and stopped tracking my steps or sleep score. So far, it works well, and hopefully it lasts longer than four years. Garmin could do better with training you to use all the features, as it's not easy to sift thru dozens of videos on its use, especially for new users to Garmin products.

I am glad that I ended up with this watch! I had read another review on it before it arrived and it had me concerned but once I had a chance to give it a try out myself I was pleasantly surprised to see what it would have available! I find that it is better at noticing and noting my steps and movments and it seems to be more accurate on my step counts during my workouts too. I really appreciate knowing that it will give me info that I can use to assist me on my way to being healthy! And I am so appreciative of how it was built too so that the part that is in contact with my skin has less of an area that catches the yuck that makes it easier to wash away.

I have had my Garmin Venu 3 for a few weeks now and have really enjoyed it. It is my first smart watch, so I can't compare it with other smart watches, only against going without a smart watch. I love getting my phone notifications on my wrist. It is also nice to be get notifications without disturbing those around me. I have also thoroughly enjoyed the sleep tracking feature. I knew I needed to get more sleep, but now I can't deny it... I know the facts. I'm not a very active person, so I can't speak to all of the activity tracking features, though there seems to be a bunch of activities it is setup to track. The battery life is also awesome. The one time I take it off is when I shower and if I plug it in for that short time every few days the watch stays fully charged. I did update the band, as the rubber version that it comes with makes my wrist sweat. But that is a common band for this type of watch and it was easy and cheap to find an alternative specific to this watch.

I needed to replace my old Venu Sq which was nice back in the day, but I wanted something more current with a larger display. Being able to talk to Siri sending text messages and phone calls is good but a little slow in responding to Siri on my iPhone 14Pro. The Venu 3 is very intuitive to operate.

I've had this watch for a couple of weeks now and find it's just OK. My biggest problem is getting it to work effectively with Garmin Connect. I'm working my way through the troubleshooting checklist but it's painful. For example, I'm instructed to hold the watch face for a few seconds to get to the setup screen, but setup doesn't appear! Connecting to bluetooth takes such a looooooong time zzzzzz. The buttons on the watch aren't labeled as explained in the trouble shooting guide. It's all very painful.

I got my watch a month ago and I am still discovering more features. I especially like the extended battery life particularly when I go on extended hikes using the GPS feature. I find the heart monitor much more accurate then my previous watch as well. The sleep feature is helping me to be more aware of my sleep quality. Highly recommend th Venu 3

I purchased the Garmin Venu 3 to replace my Apple Watch which died. I needed something to monitor heart rate and provide ECG readings. I have been pleasantly surprised by the ease of use and how seamlessly the watch worked with my iPhone. I had my doubts at first but after I have been using the Venu 3 for the past month, I wish I had changed sooner. Clear display, easy to find and use features, long battery life (big plus), accurate readings. It is truly a great watch.
