[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my favorite features of my new Samsung's Large Capacity Smart Electric Dryer is that it is Wi-Fi connected so that you can get end-of-cycle alerts, remotely start, schedule and more from your smartphone with the SmartThings App. I always forget to put a timer on my dryer and end up forgetting it's even on, so this helps so much! I also love the Steam Sanitize+ feature. This feature helps reduce wrinkles and odors and steams away 95% of pollen from fabric. Being that we have dogs this is very important to me. I work out 5 days a week and having the activewear preset is amazing. I am absolutely in love with that preset. This dryer is a must-have and I highly recommend it!

This dryer looks far better, has far more options/customization, and is paired with a handy app. Starting with the looks, the rose gold and black on the model we ordered looks fantastic. No more white dryer that looks like it belongs in the 1990's! The controls and dials are easy to use, feel well made, and look nice. The dryer has all the usual cycles you'd expect-- included steam sanitize and a steam cycle to remove wrinkles. In addition you can really dial things in with 5 dryness levels and temp settings. One thing I didn't expect to like as much as I do is the Samsung SmartThings app that this pairs with. It gives you another interface to customize your drying cycle-- which is alright, but you can do the same thing with the controls on the front of the dryer. however, the standout feature is the push alerts. You can glance at the app and see how much time is left on the cycle and you'll get a notification when your clothes are done. You don't even have to be on the same wifi network (as long as the dryer is on your home's wifi, it'll work)-- so no more forgetting the clothes in the dryer for way too long and having all your shirts wrinkled. As soon as it is done, you know. Overall, it looks good, works great, and I never knew I could be this excited about a dryer, lol!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dryer exceeded my expectations, it has many cycles to choose from depending on the type of clothing and the amount of heat you want to use on your clothes, it has to adjust the temperature, time, and other functions, it really is an excellent acquisition. The color is beautiful, a black with gold that looks spectacular and very modern. It has a SmartThinks application where I can manage my appliances as I want, program and monitor how the process is going, I receive notifications when the cycle has finished, with this dryer you will definitely save energy ENERGY STAR Certified, so you use less energy without sacrificing performance or functionality), it has an internal light and is quite spacious, you can dry more clothes in less time, it is quite silent and does not move.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how Samsung is able to combine design and function into a product. It looks amazing and performs great. Like the washing machine it fits better in closets compared to other brands. It has a lot of options and presets to chose from. Sensor dry also works very good and Wi-Fi helps with all of it. If you plan to stack them, the door is reversible so they both open the same way. It even has a lint filter indicator to remind you about it and not start a fire. Steam sanitize is great and steam dry helps a lot with wrinkles. It is great, especially as a set with the washer and just makes everything easy and straight forward.

The dry time is longer than usual but I am thinking it's an energy saving thing and maybe it does not get as hot as the older dryers. So far no real complaints and I am very satisfied with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So as I said for the washer, I absolutely love the way the Samsung DVE50BG8300V looks. The black with a touch of gold is perfect. Again, what really matters is how it works. This dryer works perfectly. It is quiet and also uses the same app to tell when the cycle has ended. Nice to get that on your phone. I like the steam cycle because it really gets out the wrinkles. Seems like it should help with any bacteria as well, but I am not sure about that. So it is easy to work, the drying sensors work great, so no wasted energy. Once it is at your set dry level it turns off, or you can set a time. Function should still look good, and here it does!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 7.5 cu. ft smart electric dryer is wonderful for drying king-sized comforters. I have the dryer linked to the SmartThings app so I get notified that the dryer has finished. Today I used the REFRESH steam function to freshen up some drapes. Such a great feature! I have been pleased with all of the options available and have been very happy to own this machine.

I have a previous model of this dryer (manufacture date 11/2020). It worked great... until it didn't work at all. Less than 5 years old and needs a new circuit board, which they apparently don't make anymore. I was under the impression this dryer should last about 10 years, but according to the service tech, this is a common issue with Samsung appliances, so just trying to warn others.

My husband and I love this dryer. We have a family of six and a lot of laundry and this dryer takes what was once an annoyance and make it much more manageable. First off, this dryer has a lot more space than most out there. With the amount of laundry we deal with, this is such a time saver for us, as it can handle bigger loads without issue. Another plus is the smart features it has. Once I start a load, I can walk away and get alerts on my phone when the load of wash is done. Gone are the days of getting busy and forgetting clothes in the dryer only to have them all wrinkled from sitting. Now I always know when the load is done and get the cloths hung and folded. The dryer has a great feature called sensor dry. This will monitor moisture in the dryer making sure not to over dry the clothes, keeping them looking newer, while also saving money on power. The next major time saver is the steam sanitize option to freshen up a shirt for the kids, instead of having to spend time going through an entire cycle. Being able to throw in a few clothes before taking the kids to a friend’s house is nice. Another nice feature this dryer has is a vent sensor. It monitors the air vent for obstructions keeping it running at its best as well as safe from fire hazards. Lastly it looks as my husband says, handsome and regal. All these things added together allow me to spend more time getting other things done and save me extra work. I now have more time to spend with the family doing things we enjoy, and it is thanks to this dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we bought the samsung wf50bg8300avus washer and matching electric dryer dve50bg8300va3 and the exterior design is very sleek. the dryer is surprisingly fast, even compared to our old gas dryer. having a dryer with the steam freshen function (the dryer has its' own water line!), a first for me, worked well and fluffed up a load i accidentally left in the dryer for 2 days. the dryer also handled a large bedding load no problem, with no excessive vibration. the lint trap is easy to clean and the controls are straightforward. historically i have preferred gas dryers, but this is challenging my assumptions about electric! this dryer and matching washing machine are stackable. the app was easy to set up and use, worked the first time. you won't go wrong with this model.
