[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we bought the samsung wf50bg8300avus washer and matching electric dryer dve50bg8300va3 and the exterior design is very sleek. the dryer is surprisingly fast, even compared to our old gas dryer. having a dryer with the steam freshen function (the dryer has its' own water line!), a first for me, worked well and fluffed up a load i accidentally left in the dryer for 2 days. the dryer also handled a large bedding load no problem, with no excessive vibration. the lint trap is easy to clean and the controls are straightforward. historically i have preferred gas dryers, but this is challenging my assumptions about electric! this dryer and matching washing machine are stackable. the app was easy to set up and use, worked the first time. you won't go wrong with this model.

Haven't had any color leaks and all soils have been removed. Paired with the dryer it works very well drying my clothes, some thicker materials come out not fully dry but after 30 mins air dries pretty well.

purchased this with matching washer. i like the convenience and connectivity. the dryer is huge, and can fit a big load of bed sheets or whole family laundry after a weekend trip. automated programs make the usage a breeze. the big problem is that the labeling around the main dial smudges off by simply wiping with finger, or a piece of cloth. all of the label around the program selector will disappear in no time rendering the unit useless. samsung warranty, however considers this a cosmetic problem and refuses to do anything about it.

Again, what really matters is how it works. This dryer works perfectly. It is quiet and also uses the same app to tell when the cycle has ended. Nice to get that on your phone. I like the steam cycle because it really gets out the wrinkles. Seems like it should help with any bacteria as well, but I am not sure about that. So it is easy to work, the drying sensors work great, so no wasted energy. Once it is at your set dry level it turns off, or you can set a time. Function should still look good, and here it does!

This new samsung dryer with smart things enable has been a life saver. My phone alerts me when my clothes are done. This way I can immediately take my clothes out to avoid wrinkles.
