Great dryer

Limited settings
I’ve had this dryer a couple years and it still works about the same. My biggest complaint is with the presets and not being able to change the temperature of the dry cycle. You can only change it if you do a timed dry. So if you like to use an auto stop you have to dry your clothes on a hot setting. My old dryer was able to sense the clothes being dry on any heat seating.

Massive Upgrade !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is a must. It's essentially silent when it's running and it plays a lovely tune when the load is done. The lint trap is easy to clean and load. It also has quite a large capacity. I've washed several large blankets at the same time. One my other favorite parts of this washer is the fact that it's all connected to my other Samsung devices so I get notifications right on the TV when my laundy is done! So handy! Overall it's a great machine and I don't have any complaints about it.
This dryer is a must have!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my favorite features of my new Samsung's Large Capacity Smart Electric Dryer is that it is Wi-Fi connected so that you can get end-of-cycle alerts, remotely start, schedule and more from your smartphone with the SmartThings App. I always forget to put a timer on my dryer and end up forgetting it's even on, so this helps so much! I also love the Steam Sanitize+ feature. This feature helps reduce wrinkles and odors and steams away 95% of pollen from fabric. Being that we have dogs this is very important to me. I work out 5 days a week and having the activewear preset is amazing. I am absolutely in love with that preset. This dryer is a must-have and I highly recommend it!
Disappointed
We had Samsung front load washer and dryer for 16 years before the washer electronics went out. We had been very pleased with the performance. We purchased the new washer and dryer 6/9/24. The pedestal mounts are poorly designed, the washer vibrates and rattles, even on small loads and the dryer keeps stopping and a CL9 code displays even though there is nothing near the door. Tonight we had to restart the dryer 4 times. We don't want to use smartphones to diagnose problems so it would be nice to actually get a complete manual.

Terrible overall experience - for Samsung & AJM.
Two brand new Samsung MAJOR appliances arrived today at my new home, this Dryer being one of them, and BOTH new appliances were damaged, the washer was clearly damaged with a very large dent in the side corner (delivery was rejected), the Dryer (this product) had many cosmetic damages, scrapes and dents on the left side. To be perfectly honest, I took out special financing to be able to afford this combo situation, and the seller gave me an inconvenience type refund of 15% but I had to pay for a missed item to INSTALL the washer itself.... the one that was damaged. The whole experience sours me on owning any new Samsung Major HouseHold Appliances long term. This really stinks. I am very opposed to Samsung major appliances and AJ Madison for the all around terrible conditions, service, over-charging of every detail item, and wait time. Now I have to wait over ANOTHER week just to get a washing machine delivered, while the cosmetically damaged Dryer sits in the new laundry room. How embarrassing.

The best dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dryer exceeded my expectations, it has many cycles to choose from depending on the type of clothing and the amount of heat you want to use on your clothes, it has to adjust the temperature, time, and other functions, it really is an excellent acquisition. The color is beautiful, a black with gold that looks spectacular and very modern. It has a SmartThinks application where I can manage my appliances as I want, program and monitor how the process is going, I receive notifications when the cycle has finished, with this dryer you will definitely save energy ENERGY STAR Certified, so you use less energy without sacrificing performance or functionality), it has an internal light and is quite spacious, you can dry more clothes in less time, it is quite silent and does not move.

Overall Happy with purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought in Nov 22. Had a couple kinks at first. It would not try the full cycle if we put it on for 60 minutes it would stop after 10:00 and we'd have to go down and reset it that has seemed to resolve itself. One thing I will tell anyone who's thinking of buying Samsung's "smart" washer and dryer, you can indeed use your phone to control the washer and dryer however one caveat that is not in the description is you have to physically touch smart control on the washer or dryer in order to enable the features on your phone so there's really no point in using the features on your phone You might as well go down to the dryer or washer and use those controls since you still have to in order to control it on your phone
Design and function
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how Samsung is able to combine design and function into a product. It looks amazing and performs great. Like the washing machine it fits better in closets compared to other brands. It has a lot of options and presets to chose from. Sensor dry also works very good and Wi-Fi helps with all of it. If you plan to stack them, the door is reversible so they both open the same way. It even has a lint filter indicator to remind you about it and not start a fire. Steam sanitize is great and steam dry helps a lot with wrinkles. It is great, especially as a set with the washer and just makes everything easy and straight forward.
