I don't understand these reviews. These cupcakes are delicious, nobody has to eat all the frosting if it's too much, but they are huge and are gorgeous and taste soo good. At $1 each they easily compare to $5 bakery cupcakes. Wry impressive on a dessert table.

We bought these for my birthday party and everyone was happy with the flavors. I personally didn't care for the chocolate one. I didn't think it had much flavor and seemed a little dry, but my husband and friend liked it. My favorite is the lemon, followed by the strawberry, then coconut and obviously, lastly the chocolate. They are very nicely decorated, although the coconut could have a little more than just shaved coconut on top. They don't have much filling inside, but that was fine with me because of the amount of icing on top. These cupcakes are a great value. They are very large and definitely worth their price. I will purchase them again if an occasion arises for pretty cupcakes with decent flavors.

My expectations for "gourmet" are pretty, moist and if not impressive flavor combinations, at least something that tastes real. These are pretty, but very cheap tasting. They are neither moist nor dry, and they taste very artificial. I would not buy them again.

I sure dont understand the negative reviews but you can't account for some people's taste. My family loves these. I also buy them to share with others and have NEVER heard anything but good remarks. Keep up the good work on these. By the way all the flavors taste fabulous.

Not enough cake, too much icing

Too sweet, toomuch frosting, artificial taste.

Thought these would be a bargain @ $8 for 8 cupcakes. The look beautiful but unfortunately they are way to sweet. The chocolate one was a dry crumbly mess. I will not purchase these again not recommend them to anyone.

This is the first time I bought cake from Sam's. They looked beautiful but are extremely dry. I am very disappointed and not sure I will try any other desserts after this.
