Watch your mileage warranty

Within exactly two years and 55K, the tire treads wore to a dangerously low 3/32 depth. The only reason I am replacing with the same tire is the pro-rated mileage warranty. Extra word of caution to AWD or 4WD vehicle owners, get an extended warranty to cover replacement of all tires if only 1 or 2

Perfect Small and Mid-Size SUV Tire

I first tried to save a few dollars and put the Defender LTX's on my 2015 Toyota Highlander. They are a good tire, ride was smooth but did have a noticeable "whine" to them. It seems like the Defender LTX is more of a light truck or full size SUV tire and the tread pattern certainly looked like it as well in my opinion. Anyway, after 300 miles, my dealer and Michelin changed them out for the Premier LTX's. All I can say is spend the extra dollars up front and get this tire for any small to mid size SUV. It is the smoothest, quietest tire I've ever owned. Absolutely terrific ride and no noise at all. Fantastic service as well.

Poor treadwear, bad snow traction

After 15,000 miles, the treadwear is down to 4/32" to 5/32". The tires won't last past 20,000 or 25,000 miles. Not even close to the stated 60,000 mile warranty. Traction in light snow is very slippery. General tire performance in daily driving for suburban areas of city and highway is fine but treadwear is horrible.

Great long-lasting tires

I have roughly 67,000 miles (mostly highway) on these tires with 3/32" left so I'm replacing them very soon with another set of LTX tires. I have had zero problems, they perform quite well in wet weather and snow and are much quieter than the stock OEM Toyo tires that came with the car.

Good while they lasted, got 1/2 of expected tread

Installed on 2012 Mazda CX9. These came recommended from my tire shop as replacements of worn OEM tires. We were very pleased with overall ride and performance. The ride was quiet and handled very good in all weather conditions. I especially liked the snow traction. The tread life was a complete disappointment. At 2 years/30,000 miles the tires were worn out to the wear bars. We will be pursuing a warranty claim.

Love Michelin LTX

I first tried Michelin in 2001, got over 100,000 miles out of the first set. Currently have them on all of our vehicles and they can't be beat for comfort, handling, quiet. Have driven them in all weather conditions, sudden stops, quick turns and there's no other tire I'd feel safer using.

30,000 miles on my Lexus and already worn to 4/32.

Just had my tires checked. Down to 4/32, wear bars starting to show. Tires are supposed to be good for 60,000. Have rotated every 5,000 miles. Will not pass inspection in December and can't make it though the winter with them. Very disappointed with quality based on warranty miles.

We understand the Premier LTX tires on your Lexus did not meet your expectation in terms of mileage. A member of our Consumer Care team will be in contact with you. You may also reach our office at 1-866-866-6605.

Replaced stock Continentals

My stock continentals only lasted 36,000 miles. Had to urgently replace 4 tires and did a lot of research...LTX Defender vs LTX Premier. Spent a little more money on the LTX Premier due to a little more sporty profile and am happy with the decision The ride of the LTX Premier is smooth, stable, well controlled on the highway and smooth and energetic on local roads. Really an impressive difference over the Continentals. I'm happy with the purchase thus far. Hoping that with regular tire rotations every 4-5K that I'll reach close to the 60K as predicted.

Far better than OEM for Audi Q%

Running these on a 2015 Audi Q5. They replaced a set of stock Continentals that were terrible. I got less than 40K miles out of the OEM tires. These are quieter and run much smoother. I have used them on snow and ice and they did a great job. I live in the Northwest so we get a fair amount of wet weather. These tires are great in the wet and are far better at eliminating hydroplaning than the OEM tires. Highly recommend these tires.

Well made and met mileage warranteeI had over

I drove over 53K miles on these tires and had I not developed an alignment issue would have easily exceeded 60K warranty. I drive a large SUV and carried heavier weights on long road trips. They handle well in snow and ice. Michelin has a quality reputation and I trust them with my family. This is my third set of Micheloin tires
