Powerful and works well

At the time of this review, I've run a complete tank of fuel through the unit and have done my best to observe how it operates. So far it works great. I added a 15 inch surface cleaner and a wand extension for cleaning my long driveway without being hunched over. I am very satisfied with the operation of this product and the power of the cleaning pressure and volume of water. Some minor complaints: The knobs that hold the handle and wand on are regular nuts and backed off the first time I used it due to what I perceive as normal vibration. I added some blue loctite and that should solve the issue. Some factory supplied nylon lock nuts would have been nice. On my unit, the pressure relief for the pump is aimed right at the engine cylinder head so when it vents pressure, it sprays the engine with water. I decided not to turn it to avoid causing a leak or over tightening. I'm going to add some sort of small shield to remedy just because I don't like the engine being sprayed with water. This feature has not impacted operation. This is a 190CC engine combined with 3300 PSI pump. It seems to me the engine is working hard and maybe a few more CC are advisable at this pressure/flow rate, but most people wouldn't notice. The working power/pressure of the unit is very good. But if this size engine is what it takes to meet the price-point, that is what it is. I was not interested in spending more for a my home-use pressure washer. I'm using good fuel and pump-saver fluid after each use, I have no indication that this washer will not last a long time. If you are in the market for such a powerful unit, this is a good option.

Pump is Not Maintaining Constant Pressure

I have used this only 2 times and the pump is terrible. The pressure is great for about 10-15 seconds and then it reduces to next to nothing. To get any reasonable cleaning on a sidewalk I had to constantly pull the trigger for 15 seconds, release the trigger to allow the pressure to build back up and repeat. a 15 minute job took forever.

Okay Model

I recently decided to upgrade my unit. I read some of the reviews, but figured the negative were the minority. So, I decided to buy this unit because it as a little more powerful than my previous power washer. Then I used the unit and I can verify some of the previous comments. First, the unit shakes so back when using it that I hope this engine will last past my next few usages. I mean, it "shakes" violently. Secondly, for a 3300 psi unit, it is not as powerful as my previous 3100 psi unit. Thirdly, I wish they had designed it to move around easier. I like the wheels that make it easier moving over bumpy surfaces. I don't see any other negatives right now, but I hope that it will hold up over the next few years for me. My last unit lasted for over 15 years with no problems. I'm kinda missing that unit. You can buy this unit, but don't have "high" expectations.

It works

It works, and as a 67 year old out of shape woman, I can pull start it. The design is horrible in comparison to my last Simpson power washer. The pull start is near the ground and where it's located there is no where to use a foot to secure the machine while pulling the engine cord. The wheels are in the front, making it necessary to lift it to move it....extremely clumsy to push or pull it. And getting it up steps? 2 people to lift! My older model was much heavier, with a longer handle, but you could move it like a two wheeler. The Velcro hose holder and trigger holder are worthless! Once again, the older model with the larger trigger holder and place to hang the hose worked like a charm! What were your design people thinking? I would return it if I hadn't used it for two 8 hour days and my repair shop could figure out what was wrong with the pressure on my old one. Had I seen it put together prior to purchase, I would have never bought it!

The Pressure “Walker”

I really really wanted to like this pressure washer... the pros were the Honda engine and that's basically were they stopped. This thing started on the first pull and it ran smoothly at first but after a few minutes the water pressure would drop off then resume.. it evened out after a bit and ran solid for an hour with no issues. The primary problem is the rolling caddy is not very sturdy and the vibration from the engine had the entire unit walking all around the work area, also the bolts that hold the top handle to the bottom chassis would vibrate loose and fall out... nothing a lock washer won't fix but a $400.00 unit shouldn't be doing this in my opinion. Power seems adequate and I was able to degrease an engine and undercarriage relatively easy as water flow once steady was forceful. This machine has the potential but the caddy really makes it less than desirable also of note the wand and hose are just not quite up to par for the price of the machine I know it's not a commercial grade washer but it's still a pretty high end machine and the accessories should be too. A heavier caddy would solve the problem of dancing around and I think then the machine would perform better.

Mixed Feelings

Overall powerful pressure washer. Keeping for the Honda engine and easy starting. I've ran two tanks of gas through it so far. The smooth starting, extended fuel range, powerful Honda engine make it a good buy. Would recommend buy aftermarket spray wand and adding your own fuel shut off valve. Pros: 1. Good fuel efficiency and large enough fuel tank (runs considerably longer than older Subaru engine homelite pressure washer). 2. Easy to assemble and comes with engine oil 3. Easy to start first pull 4. Honda engine=Powerful and reliable! Easily powerful enough for all residential tasks. Cons: 1. Terrible spray wand!!!! Trigger is soooo uncomfortable especially during extended use. FYI, I am 35yr old man with good grip strength. Much harder to squeeze/control than any other after market wand. Will be upgrading mine. 2. Hose is very rigid and makes it hard to control 3, Wand bracket is so useless I thought I must have installed it wrong. Impossible to keep wand secured while moving the machine. 4. No fuel shut off valve!! Are you kidding? Honda engine is great but will now have to add my own shut off valve. I use non ethanol gas and fuel stabilizer but feel a shut off valve should have been added from factory to protect gumming up small engine systems. 5. Machine 'walks/spins' like crazy while engine is running. I have to chalk the wheels when using otherwise it spins and vibrates so much that it twists the hose all up or worse will end up next to your siding or something flammable next to the exhaust if you're not careful. This is a problem with most pressure washers but this model is especially prone to this.
