Great TV but support terrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has a wonderful screen that really does look as good at home as it did in the store. However setting it up was ridiculously difficult. Very little information came in the box and what was there was inadequate and confusing. Looking online produced a mix of old information that usually did not apply to this, the latest model.I would have given a 5 star review if it came with a usable user guide.

Watching TV is simply just fun again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new LG 65-inch OLED65E8PUA is without any doubt whatsoever the best entertainment investment I've ever made. I enjoy the upscale lower-resolution video sources which have excellent clarity and also a wide range of color compatible content. The a9 processor certainly enhances sharpness and depth and gives more accurate colors for the ultimate in picture quality. The OLED display panels have brighter and more self-illuminating pixels which deliver a perfect black and intense color and make movies and sports more thrilling to watch. It just makes watching television for my family fun again.

Beautiful TV. Beautiful Picture Quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This us the greatest television I have not only ever owned, but ever watched in my life. The all glass design does make it extremely fragile (which makes setup a bit stressful), but the outcome is a beautiful looking television! The picture quality is the best a screen can possibly get these days. I feel like last year's E8 had better sound, but you can get over that by purchasing a separate sound system. Well worth the price!

Great Display and much improved sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this two weeks ago and had the pros to wall mount it above fire place in living room. The picture is unbelievable and the sound is much better than all the TVs I had before. I was so impressed that you now have so many picture adjustments that you can fine tune to your likings. I had the audio wired through AVR as all my previous TVs need it. But the sound of this one is so much improved that you can just use the original audio system. A great buy and looking forward to enjoy it for many years to come.

A Level Above the Others, Especially for Cable&Sat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical at first that the TVs nowadays with all their latest technology which has far suppressed what's still being broadcast over the cable and satellite channels with their limited resolution (720p and 1080i) that it didn't really matter which TV to acquire due to upstream limitations whether it be $300 or $3,000. But when I had the showroom representative switch off from the fancy promotional videos shown in 8k UHD with the tiger running across the jungle and put on a cable station (the store had FIOS) on all the TVs they had on display, the LG OLEDs, popped out right at me. You noticed the brighter whites and the darker blacks, even on a SD channel that was being up-scaled and stretched out to fit the TV edges. My choice was made on the spot. Yes, the OLED line-up does cost more, even my E-Series, which has the attractive glass panel on the bottom of the display with the improved speaker layout; but hands-down this is the best 55" TV in its class and even after a month of owning it, I have no regrets in picking this model. In my opinion, "Quality doesn't cost more, it pays!" And the WebOS has really improved for 2018, especially with Google Assistant built into the unit, I can ask it what the weather will be on the fly or adjust the temperature on the thermostat without even getting off the couch!

Best of the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I've had the high end Panasonic plasma, and high end sharp led, but the quality that this OLED represents blows them both out of the water. I'd been watching them for years waiting for my last tv to give me the slightest reason to replace it but had to pull the trigger this year. I went with the 65 E series and couldn't be happier. Whether I'm watching a movie, streaming, or gaming this thing puts all my other TVs to shame with its picture and blacks. Can't ever see myself going back, great product!
