I have been wanting the new 4K technology for a long time since it's release. I saw the pure quality in the stores and was sold on my experience next to other competing brands. I don't have a 4k Blu-ray player yet but I have been5 using the Samsung 1000w Surround Blu-ray system and it is a "must have" addition for total movie experience. I am lad to purchase this series of the Samsung 4K but next TV will be the 240Hz model for even more true motion stability. Thanks

This is our 2nd. Samsung TV. The previous set was only 2 yrs. old and was working perfectly until severe lightning strike blew surge protector and destroyed it. The advances in this model are great. The picture quality is excellent as is sound and ease of operation. We are completely satisfied with overall performance as of this writing.

Great picture. Fairly easy to use but poor documentation. It took me quite a while to figure out how to access Netflix, for instance. I'd suggest taking the time and spending the money to include a short owner's manual for those of us who aren't comfortable around modern day electronics.

Best television purchase I have made in 40 years! Set up and configuration with digital cable service provider as well as wireless interface went well. The picture is phenomenal!!! Watching an MLB game and can see individual blades of grass on the field. Great television!!!

Bought this at Sam's on their Samsung special day on 11-18-16 and the 4K output vie the TV Amazon app and the Amazon Firebox connected are awesome. Plenty of 4K series going back a couple of years so plenty to catch up on. Via DLNA the TV plays networked 40+GB Blu-Ray rips perfectly once your turn off 'Auto Motion Plus' (the soap opera effect) in Video..Advanced Settings. It's fun to look at for all of five minutes before it's all you can focus on and you turn it off immediately. All that said I knew going it only had 3 HDMI inputs but figured with a 3xHDMI changer I could get by with the XBox1, PS4 and gaming PC on it and use a Roku 4K and Amazon 4K Firebox on the other two. But NO...Samsung has this annoying Smart HDMI detect thing going on where it wants to control every aspect of whatever is live on the HDMI port it chooses at any random time and never forgets what was there last. Even if you turn off HDMI-CEC which is active for all but the PC and XBOX it decides the PS4 will become primary when it sits on the changer even if I wanted the XBox. Samsung this is a 70" panel and the real estate you had to work with to make 6 or even 7 HDMI ports available would have made this nice panel a perfect multi-media system. Yes, I could buy a 4K HT AV receiver to replace the perfectly good 7.2 unit I have now to manage multiple HDMI devices but until every source is true 4K that's throwing your money away at this point. Until the next gen 4k consoles come out I guess I have to live with this …but be warned unlike my previous 58” Samsung panel this one does not rotate on its stand so if you are changing HDMI devices all the time you will curse the limited input and poor design. The price got me with the $100 off and $150 GC so I can live with the limitations but I would still recommend it for the 4K impact alone and the sheer size and yes it's only 60lbs without the stand so self pickup/setup is possible.

I have bought several other tv brands and Samsung is the brand that my wife and I have decided is the best. The picture is great and the design is good, it's a 60" flat screen, a flat screen is a flat screen. It was very easy to set up. We also bought a Samsung soundbar and it too was very easy to set up and it sounds really good. We will always buy Samsung products whenever possible.

I'VE OWNED AND STILL HAVE MANY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS FROM WASHER S AND DRYERS TO TV'S THIS WILL BE MY THIRD TV THAT I HAVE BOUGHT FROM SAMSUNG AND IT IS THE BIGGEST TV THAT I HAVE BOUGHT. I REALLY LIKE THIS TV BECAUSE ITS LIKE HAVING A COMPUTER IN FRONT OF YOU. IT HAS BLUETOOTH AND WI-FI WHICH WORKS GREAT . THAT BIG SCREEN IS REALLY BIG IT LIKE HAVING YOUR OWN THEATER AT YOUR HOUSE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ON YOUR SAMSUNG PRODUCT. I REALLY ENJOY THEM.

This is a GREAT TV! Replaced a 7 year old Vizio, and WOW what a huge positive change. Don't use Roku or ChromeCast with this new set, the built-in apps are great. Picture, sound, Smart TV features are all excellent. 4K/Ultra HD shows look amazing. One issue that needs to be addressed by Samsung/Amazon: There appears to be a known bug with the Amazon app freezing or not responding from the home menu. I found lots of online complaints about this going back a few years, and my TV has the same issue. The workaround seems to be to just avoid navigating to the thumbnails above the home screen menu, or you have to power off and back on to "reset". You could spend more, but why?

The TV was easy to setup and has a great picture. The TV does not have support for the Sling app so I had to add a 3rd party stick. The TV also does not support the DirectTVnow app which was recently released. I find the remote challenging as it does not offer voice functionality or a keypad to type in the station number.

I had another 42 inch of another brand and something ended its life prematurely. I have had this tv for several months, now and am completely satisfied. It was new technology at the time. I bought it at a store that guaranteed the low price. When I got it home, I literally couldn't believe the quality of the picture. I remember putting in a dvd and remarking how intense the lighting was. It was obvious that they needed much more light when the movie was filled. It actually looked like you were watching from the sound stage. I don't regret paying more for mine. It was a great price back then. 20 years ago, I gave much more for a 36 inch tube set. Buy this. I think that the tv has maxed out what the eye can distinguish.
