We originally purchased a competitive brand with essentially the same features. The competitive TV was returned due to input format upscaling issues, and the quality of the picture in a dark room. We had a valid comparison for the Samsung, having viewed the competitive unit within hours of the Samsung installation. We were extremely pleased (and surprised) by the great picture quality, in all lighting conditions. This was a great buy at a competitive price.

The TV was easy to setup and has a great picture. The TV does not have support for the Sling app so I had to add a 3rd party stick. The TV also does not support the DirectTVnow app which was recently released. I find the remote challenging as it does not offer voice functionality or a keypad to type in the station number.

I just purchased the 55" 6 Series 4K UHD TV to replace my 9 year old 50" Samsung Plasma that started having problems. I am amazed at how easy the setup was on this TV. I just turned on the set and it pretty much did every thing automatically except for entering my wireless password. It found my Blu-ray and Play Station. It works great with my Xfinity X1 platform. The picture is great and the sound isn't too bad although I still hooked up my Samsung Soundbar which sounds a little better.. The only thing I don't like about the design is the stand. The way its designed makes it hard to tuck in the Sound Bar neatly under the TV..

I'VE OWNED AND STILL HAVE MANY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS FROM WASHER S AND DRYERS TO TV'S THIS WILL BE MY THIRD TV THAT I HAVE BOUGHT FROM SAMSUNG AND IT IS THE BIGGEST TV THAT I HAVE BOUGHT. I REALLY LIKE THIS TV BECAUSE ITS LIKE HAVING A COMPUTER IN FRONT OF YOU. IT HAS BLUETOOTH AND WI-FI WHICH WORKS GREAT . THAT BIG SCREEN IS REALLY BIG IT LIKE HAVING YOUR OWN THEATER AT YOUR HOUSE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ON YOUR SAMSUNG PRODUCT. I REALLY ENJOY THEM.

I really like this television , the size is great, (60"), and the picture has great color. The sound is pretty good considering it is coming out the back of the tv. This is my second Samsung television, the other one is a 46" and I really like the upgraded size. The only thing I don't like is the remote, but I did adapt to using it.

This TV is really impressive. I have trusted Samsung for years and it looks like they didn't disappoint again. The TV was very light and easy to mounted. Build is sturdy and sufficient. Set up was so simple. The universal remote is so easy to connect everything. The sound is surprisingly wonderful. I have a sound bar but the standard speakers sounded just as good. For regular viewing and streaming (including pandora) its VERY good. Clear picture, blacks are deep, refresh rate excellent, and the price point was well worth the purchase.

I really like the tv. It's easy to use. The remote is simple. It looks nice. The picture is great. My old tv had better sound but it's nothing a sound bar can't fix. But it keeps flickering every now and then and the store won't take it back and says it's a Samsung issue?

This TV is our first 4K and the first with HDR and we are very pleased with the picture quality. It makes you feel you are actually with the actors. The set up and pairing with the existing cable box and cable remote was very easy. The sound is also very good without a sound bar. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Price is great. Features are excellent, though being a new user I haven't experienced everything nor have I become comfortable as a user of the smart remote. I found the 18 page hard copy user user manual more or less useless. Picture quality on HD very good. Friend tells me that his system automatically goes to HD channel even when regular channel selected. If my smart remote is that smart I would sure like to know how to do it.

Bought this TV 1.5 years ago. Picture and sound are great but everything else is terrible. SmartHub doesn't consistently identity inputs and devices correctly. Any HDMI devices that go through my audio receiver or HDMI switch will not be identified correctly on the TV UI. Not very many app developers support the TV. Thus, the Smart TV functionality is basically useless. The universal remote is an absolute joke. There are times when I cannot turn the TV on or off. It's almost like the remote is not sync'd with the TV. Other times, I will raise the volume slightly and the remote will continue to raise the volume to full output. It's really awesome when the TV is 100% volume at 1 AM. Great for waking up the kids! The ‘universal' part of the remote is non-existent. It doesn't realistically work with any 3rd party devices. Rarely, the TV will randomly reboot. Other times, the TV won't recognize my AppleTV and I am forced to hard reset the device.
