My husband and I purchased this generator to use while camping in areas without hookups. We also wanted something we could use as a backup should our home power go out. We just received it a couple days ago, so have not had opportunity to give it the full test yet. It arrived in beautiful shape and extremely fast! My husband was very pleased with how easy it was to setup. When he pushed the start button, it fired right up. We plugged it into our RV first thing and everything worked that we turned on. Can't wait to hit the hills!!

Bought the generator a couple weeks ago. It started on the first try once I finished getting it ready. I was surprised that the battery wasn't secured before the generator was boxed up for shipment. Battery access opening could be larger and the rubber strap that is to hold battery in place should be secured with a fastener on the back side. It is very hard with the small opening to hold the strap up while putting the battery in the generator. Some sort of hook to hold the strap up while inserting the battery would be nice also. I don't look forward to replacing the battery when it eventually will be needed. The access panel to fill it with oil and then check the oil level could be bigger also. couple items that might have kept me from purchasing this generator if I had known about them before purchasing. Says it was built in Viet Nam, maybe they have smaller hands. Evidently they didn't want to secure the battery before it took the long journey to the United States. Maybe they thought it was a pain to do also since didn't do it. So far seems like a nice product which could be a lot better if the above modifications were made.

Had less than a week so I have no long term usage yet. Very surprised at how quiet it is. Set up was very easy. Came with everything needed to get started. Battery was charged already. Added oil and started right up. So far it rarely goes above 50% power even with the ac on in my Rv. Low fuel consumption as well. Well laid out control panel. And the remote start is a nice extra

The generator started right up after adding the supplied oil and a little gas. Remote start is the best. Make sure to keep the battery charged to last overnight or it will go dead and remote start won't work. Haven't tried the unit on propane yet (might get 5 stars after I do) but runs quiet on gas and has plenty of power. Purchased and installed the high altitude injector in the carburetor for our camping locations.

bought this a few weeks ago. easy to set up a few things after opening the box and it was ready to go. having the wheels makes it super easy to use to move, love the push button start option or can use the key fob with it. very happy with the my purchase so far and it so quite that you can forget it's running !!!

I bought the iGen 4500DF for the dual gasoline/propane feature so I would always have backup fuel. I also like the running and peak watts to run my air conditioner, residential refrigerator, micowave, and television simultaneously. It is quiet and the remote start is a bonus.

Only dual-fuel generator with remote start. Feature rich; (electric start, included battery charger, allows switching between propane and gasoline while running, has load indicator, hour log, etc. Tested running 2.5HP 10in wet saw, angle grinder, shop vac, and various other appliances at same time. No problems.

Out of the box started up acceptable noise level decent fuel consumption. Used it about 20hrs on fuel not propane yet. Remote start great well built. No oil filter and if you need oil change tilt the unit sideways and pour out the oil on the hole goes in ! and through the same funnel.... hehe

Just bought this and did the 5 hour break in. I used a heat gun to fluctuate the power as instructed for break in process. I changed the oil after break in. I found some small metal flakes in the used oil. Not sure if this is normal or not. It seemed to operate properly

I was able to test run my generator today. I was so pleased to have it start right up without a single problem. Running in propane mode was incredibly quiet. The remote start will be a real step saver. I am looking forward to our first trip out to give it a real time test.
