Perfect Fit.

We just bought the iGen11000. Took me about 25 minutes to put on the wheels, the handle and fill it with oil. It started on the first push of the button. Ran it for an hour with just a small fan, then put my 60w laser on it and added two more fans. Never exceeded 25% of its load and ran smooth as butter. The remote works from inside the shop to the outside and its a metal building. The next day, repeated the process and smooth as silk. Love this thing and would highly recommend it. Oh, and it's pretty easy to move around with the big wheels, even on gravel.

Perfect for Florida Power Outages

We haven't had to use this for an extended amount of time but we have fired it up with both propane and gas and after a few times troubleshooting the instant start, it worked perfectly. Highly recommend for a smaller generator, that is easy to move and not super loud, for those power outages during hurrican season, easy to store.

Very quiet! Desktop computers will need UPS

4.5 Stars. This extremely quiet. My car engine is louder than this thing when idling. Running off of propane makes for an extremely clean burn. Even though the generator can use gasoline, I have no intention of using it with anything other than propane. The only issue I found was with the generator in **Economy Mode** when running at under 700 watts: Occasionally the power would drop out for about 1/10th a second every 10-20 minutes or so, which can, but not always, cause desktop computers to reboot that aren't on a UPS unit (laptops won't need this). Even though the inverter should supply clean power, is is still a very good idea have your electronics on a surge suppressor/UPS when on a generator. The youngster in the house failed to follow instructions and put his computer on the UPS for the generator and transfer switch test, which is how this was discovered. Generator was run at ~1100Ft elevation, so there was no need for an elevation kit.

Great features

I was looking for maximum power in a dual fuel inverter generator. After a lot of research this is the generator I chose based on features and reviews. I am very pleased with my decision. The igen 4500DF is easy to use and extremely quiet. I recommended this to a friend who has also purchased this generator.

Very Quiet! Lots of Power!! Not a disappointment!!

I searched researched generators for a while, cause my other was too noisy. I couldn't use if I wanted to have a conversation in camp. I found this one and checked all the reviews, made a decision to find that where ever I looked, it was out of stock. I for one for sale, and I jumped on it. Box was a little damaged in shipping, however the generator comes very well packaged to take a beating in shipping. Everything was included in the box; remote key fob, propane regulator, oil, and 12 mini charger to keep on-board battery charged. It took about 20 minutes to get out of box, add oil, fuel, and connect the battery. Read through the instructions. Yanked 3 times and it fired right up. It has a 30amp RV connection on it, which I connected my RV, cranked on the A/C and used the microwave. PLENTY OF POWER... Played around with it a bit more... efficiency mode … quieted the unit down even more. Great Display. Remote start works well to turn the generator ON or OFF. Would highly recommend the IGen4500.

Everything I need

Purchased this to power a small off grid cabin. Just the right size to be portable and yet have enough power for some niceties. Also allows me to run some power tools and makes my little 110 welder truly portable. I love the propane option and the electric start means my wife can use it if I'm not around. The remote is handy for shutting it off at night without having to go outside. So far I'm very happy.

Easy Set-up and Operation

Purchased this generator to use with our travel trailer and for emergency power. Adding the oil was a little tricky and easy to overfill, but not a big deal. Having dual fuel operation is going to be great and the remote start/stop feature is genius. Had a little trouble starting on a cold morning at elevation when switched to gas so I hope that is not a reoccurring theme. Swapped it to propane and it fired right up and then ran on gas with no problem. I'm marking as excellent for now and chalking the little nuances up to break in period and learning curve.

IGen4500DG

I've owned this generator for about 1 month and even though I haven't used it to power anything in an emergency situation as intended, I highly recommend this unit for the following reasons: 1)Starts right up, right out of the box and the couple of times I started it afterwards. 2)Duel fuel - both gas and propane worked flawlessly so far. 3)Quiet compared to other bigger generators. 4)Enough wattage to use in an emergency situation in a compact, easy to move/store size. Note: The automatic choke switch was attached and functional In mine. (Others reported a problem where their units had choke switch not plugged in - easy fix either way. ) I feel mine is running a little rough through break in. I'm thinking about changing/updating spark plug to see if this helps as others have stated.

Quiet and Smooth Running Generator

I bought this generator to provide emergency backup power. It's fairly compact and quiet, yet appears to be well built and runs really smoothly. Starts easily via pull cord, electric push button or wireless fob. Setup was easy with the included oil and funnel. Side panel openings provide quick access to the battery and oil fill/drain, although it is a bit tight given it was engineered for a small profile and with sound insulating side panels. I love the dual fuel capability and so far have only run it on propane. While its primary purpose will be backup power, I like that it is portable and quiet and could be used for camping, tailgating, etc.

Nice Generator

Only issue I had was the automatic choke harness wasn't connected. This seems to be pretty common issue so I was aware prior to purchasing. Pretty easy fix. Unit runs pretty quiet and works as it should. I really like the dual fuel feature and remote start. Runs the camper on both types of fuel so that is real handy.
