Works great. Pretty quiet - especially in Eco Mode with lower loads. Easy to use. I like the dual fuel feature and the push button start. It's a bit heavy but the pull out handle makes it quite manageable. The oil and battery compartment covers could be bigger. If you have large hands it might be troublesome.

We are new to Florida and wanted to prepare for any power loss. I read the reviews and decided to go with Westinghouse a well known company. We read the easy instructions and finally tested the product. Boy, we were so impressed with the quality and the low noise. Hopefully we'll never have to worry, but we feel confident with this product.

I did a lot of research to find the right mix of features and quality in an inverter generator. The iGen 4500 DF fit the bill exactly. The balance of features to price made it a high value purchase. I have a lot of newer refrigerators that need the low THD to protect them from electrical damage. And I have a lot of food in them that I do not want to spoil. I am breaking it in as I write this review and everything is going perfectly. I do not expect any issues in the future.

We could not get the generator to work. I called the number I had in the information you sent. The person who answered could not fix the problem. Took my information and said someone would call me the next day. ThAt was on Monday Sept 2. Today is Sept 5. I'm still waiting. I guess I'll wait for ever.

This generator has the key features for using on a RV. Connecting to propane offers easy of access to fuel and clean fueling. No need to carry a gas can around, a secondary propane tank on my RV fuels this while the other runs my RV equipment. Propane tank exchanges are super easy to find. No more spilling gas. The other big plus is the remote feature. Being able to start and stop the generator from within the RV makes use super clutch. The remote allows me to conserve propane. The only reason I took off a star was because it would let me give it 4.5 stars; the initial unboxing revealed plastic fitment issues and small defects in finish, purely cosmetic.

I prepped the generator as directed. It fired up first try with gasoline and the same with propane. The remote start works great. Have only had it one day, to early to give it a full review. I hooked our rv up with our surge protector. Only complaint so far is that when I tried running our 15k ac unit the voltage dropped low enough to cause our surge protector to disconnect power.

iGEN4500D/F delivery a day early, Easy assembly: add oil & gas, connect battery lead. ran for 4 hours, then tested under load & ,voltage was consistent. switched over to propane ,was smooth with some hesitation to be expected ,low idle was not as smooth but acceptable. operated well under load. I was not able to connect to my RV it is in storage. but operated under load for an hour from 1500- 3150 watts. I also want to note this is the 04511REV01 . does not have carb/choke issues as previous one have had. I will do a follow up after I test on my RV !!

I bought this 5 weeks ago, and have run it a few times. I'm impressed with how quit it is under load running my camper. A pile of nice operating features along with the remote start. I wish it had a little better design for changing the oil so that it could be a cleaner process.

Delivery by FedEx was a little nerve-racking. The box was "rolled" from the street to the outside of my fence. My dog heard the last drop of the roll which was upside down. It was delivered a day and a half early with no notice, a good thing we didn't take off for the weekend. Unpacked generator connected battery, added 3/4 of supplied oil (that was the full level) Started the gen on propane with the remote, ran for a couple of hours, changed the oil to full synthetic. The noise level is nice, in all settings. Seamless and easy. We used a pick-up truck receiver hoist to lift gen to the top of my roll-away toolbox to change the oil. For the next oil change, I will install an elbow and rubber tube down to the hole in the bottom panel. The current design of the drain creates a mess on the bottom panel. Other than the oil drain design it is a 5-star generator we will use for powering the RV.

Bought this for price and power as a Honda EU2200 Gen will not power my Travel Trailer AC. With this unit being Dual dual fuel. I can use my Trailers Gas grill hookup to fuel the generator. Or gas or spare Propane tank. Going to mount this on my Travel trailer bumper which is where my Shore power hookup is. Easy start with pull cord and electric start no need to go outside if raining to start.
