This is the first generator I have ever owned. I love the simplicity and ease of use. It is very well made and looks great. The initial set up is simple and easy. I feel much better knowing I have a reliable power source when our power goes out.

This inverter generator has plenty of power for my RV and tools for building our off grid cabin.. Nice to know i have back up power incase of a power outage at our primary residence.. It's a little heavy but worth the extra power. The control panel is labeled well along with easy access for fueling and motor maintenance..

I bought this generator to power a boat lift on our dock. I looked at a number of other “quiet” generators and felt this model offered the best features at a good price. I haven't used this yet at the dock but set up and started at the house, easy to start and quiet both gas and propane. Remote start an added plus.

I BOUGHT THIS JUST A FEW HOURS AGO BUT HAD TO LEAVE A REVIEW TO QUALIFY FOR MY FREE BONUS ITEM SO FAR SO GOOD ONLY NEG. WAS BATTERY NOT STRAPED DOWN AND WAS LAYING ON ITS SIDE. CRANKED ON PROPANE RUNNING GOOD AND RUNNING QUITE. WILL START BREAKIN TOMORROW

Removed from packaging, filled with gas and oil.( Doesn't take full Qt. Of oil). Gas started leaking all over my garage floor. Got it outside, pulled the side cover and tapped on the carburetor. Needle was stuck, maybe from shipping? Let it set for the day, and dry out. Started right up, runs great, and runs my whole r.v. Runs quiet and smooth, have not tried propane yet.

strong enough to run my camper's a/c off propane. i wont put gas in it so my carb will always be clean. weighs less than many smaller inverter generators. propane setup was easy, eco mode throttles up and down as per demand on LP. remote control worked out of box with no programming.

I am really happy with this product. This Westinghouse generator has all the features I searched for, 30 amp RV plug, maxim of 3000 watts continuous to run my 12500 BTU AC, dual fuel and a remote start. I can boondock comfortably now. Thanks for such a great product and the price is right.

An ice storm last year kept us in the dark for a week. No more! Researched many units and this one checks all the boxes, and comes at a good price. Easy to move around, plenty of power, and the dual fuel option allows use of propane, which makes it quick and clean to set up; no worries about old gas, and no need to drain the generator for storage. Also I knew it would be quiet, but it is even quieter than I was expecting!

This is a great inverter generator for my camper. It's very quiet and doesn't disturb any nearby neighbors. The remote start is a great feature for when it's late at night. And it produces enough power to run my A/C, 12V fridge and microwave! Very happy with this purchase!

Step 2 in the manual after connecting the battery is add the oil provided. The whole bottle. And what happens? A lot of it runs out of the generator all over my driveway because it didn't need the whole bottle. Then we have a features page in the manual which doesn't come close to matching the location of the features on the generator. And the instructions for paralleling inverter operation fail to state that if the generator has two black inputs (rather than 1 black and 1 red like the cable), then color coding on the cable doesn't matter. One can stumble into that information by going on-line by looking at pictures associated with the cable. The generator started up nicely using propane after pressing the on/off button and again very nicely using the remote. I didn't fire it up with gasoline yet, but when I do the gas will NOT contain any ethanol. I plugged the generator into a 50 amp power inlet box located outside by the main breaker (using the parallel cable and a 30 ft 50 amp generator cable after taking the central air and hot water heater off line and the results were very good. Had several computers and printers running, TV, refrigerator, microwave, a bunch of lights, and use of the garage door. I bought a second IGEN 4500 (gas unit as the DF units are sold within hours of receipt it seems) to use for parallel use with the DF unit. Haven't taken that unit out of box yet. I won't be able to use central air even running two units in parallel, but I will be able to run a wall rattler AC and perhaps use a burner on the stove if I manage other items carefully when a stove burner is on. The generator is very very quiet. The hardware is great; so what's the reason why the manual can't be good?
