Does the job

I've only had it for 2 days but I'm already pleased with it. I thought we'd run out of fuel after a few hours of the AC running on it but it lasted all day, that was a nice surprise because our AC isn't exactly energy saving. The remote start/shut off works from 20-30 feet away as long as there's a clear line of sight, perhaps more but I haven't tested that yet. The handle and wheels were a nice touch for portability. Overall I think it was a good purchase for us.

Overall Good - Remote start needs improvement

After using two days; overall I am happy with the purchase, with one exception. I have found that leaving my RV plugged into the generator (RV ready plug) can cause the generator remote start battery to drain too low to use the remote start. This renders the remote start function basically useless. There should be a diode in the charging circuit to prevent this or a relay to disconnect the charging circuit from the generator battery when RV battery drops below a specific value. This seems like an engineering oversight, or perhaps a product defect in an otherwise solid product.

Opening the box and instructions

Bought this in June, ready for hurricane season. Opened the box in early August ahead of hurricane Debby. Very well put together. Excellent operational instructions and user manual. Everything was supplied (except fuels, obviously), even the tools to do routine maintenance. Pretty darned quiet, easy to start and operate.

Purchased for Camping

The battery hold downs were broken when received. When they returned my call they told me to return for a full refund and then reorder a new one. Issue was I was leaving town and did not have time to return it and wait for another one. Discount would be sufficient have not heard back yet. Other than that so far happy with the product, easy to pull and move.

High quality generator

I mainly bought this in case of power outage, which we haven't had yet. But it did come in handy when I bought a jukebox out of a storage unit. I also plan to use it for dry camping when we eventually get a trailer. I chose this particular model for the dual-fuel option, and the inverter efficiency. Have yet to test it hard, but pleased with the purchase so far.

Quiet

Purchased after much research. Decided on the igen4500DF to have the option of propane or gas. It was quieter then expected, and believe me I did a lot of research. Purchased to use with a ATC Toy Hauler. This will be more then enough to power as needed. I initially started the inverter on propane. Ran pretty rough on propane and would not maintain steady RPM. I went through the trouble shooting as instructed in the manual. Said the issue could be cause by gas left in the carb. (I'm guessing from testing at the factory.) Decided to run it on gas, and it ran incredibly smooth with steady RPM. After break in, (running for an hour with no load) and changing the oil, I decided to try the propane. While it was running on gas, I switched to propane and had no issues. Ran smoothly with steady RPM. My recommendation, break it in on gas. On side note about the break-in, I would certainly change the oil after the first hour. I have never been one to think that there was a need to, but I did see minute metal flecks in the oil after the first hour, as would be normal on any new engine. Overall, seems like a good product. Looking forward to getting out and using it on the hauler.

Good unit

I bought this generator a month ago and it was delivered on schedule. I expected the box to be damaged but it wasn't; only a couple of tears but nothing of any consequence. The generator was packaged well to prevent shipping damage. The unit did not take the entire quart of oil that came with it. A couple ounces of oil spilled out the overflow port onto the floor. Would recommend placing an old towel under the unit when filling it with oil.

Works great!

We bought 2 weeks ago hoping to not use but we had high winds this past weekend and power was out for 4 days and the generator was so easy to use. Started without a hitch. Ran flawlessly. We were able to run everything but the well and electric stove. Ran on eco mode overnight without having to add fuel. Highly recommend. Only wish that would have been able to have the well work too. Will also be taking them camping.

Pretty cool little Inverter-Generator!

I lost power 4 times in 2023. I don't have a big house (1062 SQ.FT) so I started researching what to purchase to run the necessities. I knew that I wanted one that was compact and easy to move around. I went with the iGen4500DF Inverter-Generator for all these reasons plus it got some good reviews. Although I haven't "officially" used it yet, I did complete the "break in" period so I got to see how it starts and runs. The electric start was really great and also the duel fuel. I had it hooked up to a 20lb LP tank and let it run for 4-5 hours. I plugged in different things to see how the control panel worked. It has some really nice bells and whistles on the control panel with gauges, lights and digital displays. Pretty cool machine!

Quiet with lots of available Watts

Have not run it to many hours but it runs quiet and should power my whole 30 amp travel trailer with easy. Was a little concerned about a few reviews but my generator does not show any issues. Filet cap metal shows no sign of rust, stated with no issue, and tank does not leak.
