Our latest addition

This is our second Westinghouse dual fuel generator and, just like the first one, this new one was up and running in no time. Started and ran perfectly for its break-in period and it's now off to the campsite to run the air conditioning and other items in our RV. Very happy.

research is over

I researced all of the like generators I could find. had to be invertor, 3,500 watt or better, dual fuel. This one had more features that made it even better. I.E. remote start (yeah), LED data center, parallel capable. So far, I added oil, hooked it up to propane, and hit start on the remote start. It started right off, and shut down as expected with the remote start buttons. after starting again, I plugged my camper in and ran everythink I could run, including the 13,500 air unit. It ran everything easily for about two hours, untill I shut it down. You can tell when the compressor on the ac kicks in, as the startup draw takes a fair amount of juice. The generator reves up, but drops back down quickly as the copressor settles down to normal run draw. I don't know if it's as quiet as a Honda, but I'll be way more comfortable running it with neighbors in a campground, than my old open frame. Very happy at this time. We'll time test it in a couple of months.

Hopeful

I bought this generator as it seems the same as the Cummins model only blue in color and about $50 cheaper. It started right up using propane and it cycled as expected when I cycled the 15k RV A/C on and off. It ran at 50% load while A/C was running on RV. I only plan on using propane feature so I can't comment on using gas side of unit. I expect this unit to last quite a number of years if not decades.

Futuristic Generator

I purchased this generator for off-grid camper use as well as for emergency backup at home. It is highly user-friendly and has several advanced features. It is a bit large and heavy for use as a portable unit but the capacity for power generation is the other side of that coin. Ultimately, after much research, I think it is the best generator in its class.

Easy-Peasy

I bought this generator/inverter for my rv when we go “no hookups” camping. The “quick start” guide was just a few simple steps that were super easy to follow. It started up immediately on first try. Runs smooth and very quiet. I couldn't be happier.

failed starter, never used gen

after 11 months of storage, sitting in the garage, on the charger, run once a month for 10 minutes since first fueling, the starter has failed. never actually used the unit to provide power, but kept in a ready state. very upset customer. also, in an attempt to upload a video per this Westinghouse review page, youtube automatically classified my 37 second video a "short" and this URL type is not valid for upload to this review section. only standard antiquated youtube URL's can be uploaded here. 1 star all around.

Everything you need, including a remote starter!

We have been through two fires, 2017 and 2019 in northern California where PGE disconnected the electricity. I have been looking for a dual fuel generator with a remote starter but could not find one. I was very close to purchasing a 3500 watt dual fuel generator from a different company but it did not have a remote starter. Then I stumbled on this one, 1000 watts more, dual fuel and with a remote starter! Love it!!

Dual Fuel is great! Quiet!

I purchased a year ago but just set the generator up this weekend. Decided to try propane first. I got it ready and plugged it in for several days to let battery charge. Pulled out today and the generator started right up. Runs quiet! Going to try it out on a primitive camp trip. I will say the fit and finish isn't great on this but overall for the $ seems to be a good generator. Hope it lasts, as it will only get used a couple of times a year for camping and as a back up if lose power.

All around great generator iGen4500DFc

It arrived and with the quick start up instructions, the unit was running in 15 minutes. Tested under load and it barely flinched. Remote started the unit from 250 feet or more. The RV 30 amp port is a big factor in buying this unit and the dual fuel feature.

Starts right up!

I bought this for a backup electric generator. Charged the battery, added oil, add gas and took it outside in 24 DegF. Started right up. I ran it several hours with a freezer and refrigerator plugged into it. No problems. It has a 3.4 gal fuel tank. Whish it was 5 or more gallons like the gas cans.
