Perfect for my needs

Although I have not had a chance to use this product yet, it seems like a perfect fit for my intended use. It is rated for a pretty good amount of watts, It has a better fuel consumption rating, the noise output level, it's small and relatively lightweight when compared to other inverter/generator in its wattage category

So far, pretty good

I only just received it and started it up. A word of warning - don't try and fit the entire bottle of oil, even though it says it should fit. I also had trouble replacing the dipstick/oil plug. It's either poorly machined or the plastic plug is too soft. Also, it's not as quiet as I expected, although it is supposed to be quieter than comparable models. Other than those caveats, I am happy with the features and capabilities of this unit. For me it is everything I need in an emergency generator.

So far so good

Received today in good condition to my front porch. Took about 20 mins to unpack, fill oil, plug battery in and fuel up with gas. Started using the push button on the front panel and came alive without a hitch. I ran it for about 20 mins and plugged in a small air compressor to charge and was not an issue for the generator. I will update after I have some usage that is worthy of reporting.

So far, so good!

Only 5 hrs of run time so far - just to get though the initial break-in period. I have run it on both propane and gasoline, with no more than 50% load. First oil change was expectedly sludgy, but no signs of large metal flakes or shavings. As others have commented the oil access panel is very small - I needed to temporarily disconnect and move a nearby wire to be able to get a wrench on the oil drain bolt. The automatic choke seems to be connected and is working fine right out of the box. The manual has some minor inaccuracies.

Easy to Start

Being a senior citizen, we were looking for a generator with electric start and propane power. This one fit the bill. It is powerful enough to run the medical equipment my husband needs and numerous other items. The best part is I can start it without having to pull a cord.

Super quiet top pick

I did a lot of shopping. Mainly I wanted a quiet generator. I also wanted more than 4,000 starting watts and a 30 amp plug for the RV so I can run the AC without any problems. I got all that plus a lot more. The noise level is rated 51. I compared this to the Honda and I can't tell the difference. When I put it in eco mode it still runs the AC great and is even quieter. A couple bonuses are that it is duel fuel so I can run it off the propane. The only downside is that it is larger than a 2000 watt unit for sure but it is not too large to be a big deal. One more thing I love about this is the Key fab so you can start it remotely. It has remote, plus push button and manual if all else fails. This is my top pick and I shopped around a lot. The price point also beats everyone else. Definitely get this one for your RV trips.

Great Features and light weight

I bought this unit a couple of months ago and love it so far. It will be primarily used for camping, but also will give me peace of mind at home this winter for power outages. unit runs very well and is not loud at all, havent run on propane yet but will have a tank on hand in case of emergences

Great Unit

We purchased two inverters so we could lpower our 5th wheel. Both fired up right away and ran very quietly. We did overfill the oil reservoir on the first unit, since it did not take .6 quarts. We also purchased the combiningunit which has color coded leads which the iGen4500DF does not. Two minor issues, and we look forward to many col or warm (heater or AC) days out in the wilds.

Great Generator So Far Out the Box

This is my first generator ever, so I watched a lot of YouTube videos and reviews before purchasing. This is my first impression, but so far so good. Out the box after adding the oil and connecting the battery, it started up on the first push on the remote using propane. I was pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to start using it to see how it performs as a backup power generator.

I NEED SOME HELP!!!! PROBLEM WITH THE GENERATOR

I BOUGHT THIS INVESTOR IN JUNE AND I HAVE SOME PROBLEMS: 1. When I turn on the generator I have to press the start button twice or three times in both mode (GAS/Propain) to start. 2. When I connect a 12BTU (9.5 Amp) AC UNIT and then try to connect a fridge the inverter turns off, the amp consumption does not reach 18amps and the Overload Light never turn it on. WHAT CAN I DO, WHAT COULD I CHECK? SPARK, CARBURATOR?
