I bought this almost a month ago in preparation for hurricane season. Two days after receiving it, our power was out for 7days. I had it connected to the main panel, and got the house powered up with it. After about 15 minutes I engaged the AC (my AC has a soft start connected), almost immediately the generator sputtered and died. I pulled this new unit out of service and ran the whole week with no further issues once I hooked up my older (less wattage) conventional generator. Thankfully I was able to sell this piece of crap to a neighbor who didn't care about running their main AC.

After reading all the directions that say you should remove the loads from the machine before starting and before stopping, then turning the machine off. Or turning on the LP tank then turning on the "On" switch before you hit the start button either on the machine or the remote. You have to be at the generator to do these things. So why the remote?

The generator just arrive today, filled with oil, connected battery and propane, hit the remote button, she turned over a few times and fired up. I thought it was eco mode it didn't sound like it was revved up much, looked at the switch and it wasn't, flipped to eco mode and was shocked at how quite it is. Yes i am coming from and old regular generator and it is truly amazing at the very low sound level. Cant wait to put it to real world use.

I have a Westinghouse open frame 7500 watt generator. I bought the iGen4500 because it is rated to be much quieter than my open frame generator and has low THD for sensitive electronic products. Have run the iGen a couple times for very short periods. It is much quieter than my open frame. Let's wait and see how it operates when we have a power outage.

I liked my brothers Westinghouse 4500 he uses for his B-Class RV so much I purchased one for my 5TH Wheel RV. One note of interest we used his to run what we needed at our lakeside RV site for both his Class B and a 29' Travel Trailer piggy backed for an overnighter. The 4500 did an incrediblly awesome job.

Arrived earlier than expected. Exterior damage on the left side panels but not from shipping. Box was in excellent shape. Westinghouse is replacing the panels. Starts and runs easily and quiet. Still performing the break in. Have not figured out how to read anything other the remaining run time in on the LED display. I'm sure it can but have not found anyone at Westinghouse that knows. Probably need to do another review after the minor issues are resolved and we have actually used it on our travel trailer.

Just unboxed the unit today. Break in seems to be going well. Oil reservoir took the whole bottle of included oil. Quiet enough. Reading the date center will take some getting use to, but not a big deal. Hope I don't need it, but living in the Houston area I'm thinking it will be surely tested.

I purchased on Monday and received it on Friday,filled it with included oil,connected the battery and filled the fuel.After a few attempts to start,it fired up.Quiet yes.... I have owned a few different brands and I am amazed at how quiet,I purchased this unit because of the dual fuel and remote options. I have not tried the propane yet but will in the near future. I will recommend this unit to my friends

Ran for a few hours so far. Was able to maintain the temperature in smaller deep freezer, a 20cu ft fridge/freezer, and a dehumidifier (This was running on natural gas, did even better on propane, haven't used with gasoline). Was bought to keep our vaccines viable in an emergency. Haven't had to use it in that capacity.

Set up took 10 minutes, most time was spent filling oil because I couldn't find oil capacity anywhere, had to remove funnel and visually inspect with light then dipstick. Started first time and is super quiet. Love the digital read out of remaining time and current load.
