I bought my Inverter Generator on January 8, 2025. Just did the break in period and completed the oil change with Mobile 1 Synthetic. It ran perfect during the break in and was very quiet just 10ft away. Looking forward to many great camping experiences with our new generator. I have owned the igen 5000 DFC for about 2 weeks now. I have run it for about 3 to 4 hours under various light loads. It says to run for about 5 hours under 50% load so I do not know how much load it will handle but it seems to be doing well. I plan on only running this generator on propane. It started the very first time I hooked up the propane. I have started it with the remote start, the pool start, and the push button start. All worked flawlessly. This is the second Westinghouse generator that I have owned. Hopefully this one works as well as the last. It is a little large and a little heavy but it will power everything in my fifth wheel without a problem. Including the air conditioner. I would highly recommend this product.

Came in secured, excellent packaging. Quick start instructions were easy to read with pixs !!! Up and running in less than 15 minutes. (After connecting plug to battery and adding the provided 10w/30W oil...Tested on our RV with the Air Conditioner, worked great...Would definitely buy again..

Runs well, pretty quiet, and I like that I can run from propane tanks and not have to worry about leaving gas in the tank. It was a little hard starting in the beginning, I assume from purging air in the propane lines, but once that was done, rans very well.

I have been looking for a compact generator with some features and this inverter generator covers all the bases. It is compact, has a 50amp output, easy to move around and very quiet when running. The unit was packaged very well resulting in a pristine unit after removing the box. Very easy to assemble because everything required was in the box including engine oil and wrenches to fit everything.

I shopped around specifically for a Dual Fuel Inverter generator with a remote electric start to use at my primitive campsite with a 5th wheel trailer. After considering several brands, I chose the Westinghouse iGen5000DF. I received the product in under a week, which I felt was very good considering it was very close to Thanksgiving and the ensuing Christmas shipping time period. I added the enclosed oil and followed the directions to break it in at my house, then loaded it into the back of my SUV and took it to my land and camper for Thanksgiving weekend. The generator is very quiet and performed flawlessly for the 3 day weekend. We have used it for several weekends since and love the remote stop/start that we can use from inside the camper. I did the first oil change at camp per the owners manual and was very pleased with oil color and consistency coming out. Overall, very pleased with the generator and my decision to purchase.

Review* I purchased this generator right before hurricane Helene came through NC and I am so glad I did. Ran flawlessly everyday for almost 3 weeks before the power was restored and gave me some normalcy in a terrible situation. The ability to run off regular gas and propane was a huge plus when gas was hard to get because of the power outages and floods. Great product!

I've always had the basic construction type of generator that work well but are super loud. I just Upgraded to this inverter style and what a difference! It is a solid well built unit. You can stand next to It and have a normal conversation. No more upsetting the neighbors.

I purchased this item as a home back up generator. I have an interlock installed on my panel. It runs everything in the house except the 240v items, which is fine because I knew this before purchasing. I am able to run two refrigerators/freezers, the microwave, electronics, and the lights with no issues.

Opening and setting up my Westinghouse inverter generator was a breeze. Yes, Youtube videos help but the instructions that came with it were perfectly well-written and easy to follow: from adding the oil, connecting the battery, and finally starting the generator. There are a lot of instructional warnings and tips and it makes this foolproof! I think I made a great choice. The noise of running it is very acceptable. No hiccups whatsoever, right out of the box!
