bought this router on sale, have pretty much used Asus motherboards, so this router was a no brainer on sale!!

This was a replacement for an older ASUS router. Saving the configuration files and loading on the new router was easy. I liked the ability to have more Ethernet ports and the use of SFP for my 10GE LAN connection

So far so good. I'd love the fact that I had saved settigns from a previous ASUS router and was able to restore it in a few minutes. It saved me a lot of time reconfiguring the new unit.

So far this unit has performed flawlessly. Initial setup was easy and a mesh setup was simple using the app on my phone.

I was using the router that was supplied by the provider but there were certain areas in my home where the wifi connection was really weak and would go in and out frequently. Since i have purchased the RT-BE88U the signal strenght throughtout the house is much better and in the areas where the signal was weak it is much stronger and consistent. Very satisfied and confident with the unit.
