Wish it was wild salmon

Love the product however, we divide each package into 1/4 lb (4 oz) packets for later use. While weighing on a digital scale it showed that the actual salmon product from each of the two packages was 1/2 to 5/8 ounce short of the "Net Wt 12 oz" shown on the package. Unfair to the consumer to short the product even at the great Sam's Club price. Hopefully Sam's Club will investigate why this is happening.

Product quality inconsistent since the change in packaging from 16 oz to 12 oz twin pack. In the 16 oz packaging, the smoked flavor was very consistent and dry to the touch. I liked it, and bought two packages a week. In the 12 oz packaging, the salmon sometimes tastes smoked, and sometimes not. When the salmon has little or no smoke flavor, there is a bitter aftertaste.The flesh feels slimy with a sticky coating. After buying two packages a week over the past month, I don't plan to buy any more.

Too salty

Very frustrated with this new product. It is very poor in comparison to the previous single pack product shown here: samsclub.com/ip/Member-s-Mark-Cold-Smoked-Atlantic-Salmon-Case-18-ct/13600103957 it is lower quality and more expensive, unit price is high and the slices fall apart so it is harder to serve. The previous salmon was available in 1lb packages for $13.95 ($0.87/oz). Please bring back the previous product packaging and pricing!

I like the 2 Smaller vacuumed sealed 12 oz packages, as opposed to the previous brands 1 -16 oz packages that tends to spoil easier once opened. The LOX is very fresh and just the right amount of salt. Not to salty. Great Smoked Salmon Taste and Meat Texture too ! I wish that the manufacturer would add a stayfresh ziplock seal on each of the 12 oz packets

It's a great product, but with tariffs and food prices in general, Sam's chose to increase the package size from 16 oz. to 24 oz. and raise the price proportionally more. It's really too much salmon to be enjoyed regularly unless you're having a big party. The two 12 oz. portions help, but for me, it's just too much salmon, too fast. I was buying the 16 oz. package for years...

This is excellent farmed fish, by a company that knows fish and is highly regarded in both Japan and Norway. The texture is delicate, the flavor exceptional. Full of omega-3 oils. I cannot resist snacking on this frequently. I have it for breakfast on most days, and as an afternoon or a midnight snack almost every day.

Found broken plastic bit in the fish

Don't know why, but slices are very fragile. They fall apart when carefully separating them.
