There is a "best if used by" block on the package and it is blank. Bought 2 weeks ago and didnt worry about the first package since I opened immediately but am unsure about the second without a date

I have enjoyed in the past the 1 lb single package of smoked salmon from Sams until the recent change (5/25) where the two smaller ackages of Salmon arrived in Hawaii store. Looks good ( I appreciate the smaller packages of two). However, noticing a slight allergy ot reaction to this recent product like slightly itchy eyes (mine). I am not eating any lesd than before but perhaps there is something different going on, maybe a different supplier or perhaps a different batch (or me). I will wait a few weeks and hope that when I repurchase it, the problem may (hopefully) go away.
