Great Product

This is a great kitchen It was bought for my 3 year old and my 13 month old, but we have seen that even the older kids love to pretend to cook and wash dishes. It has provided many hours of fun with many more to come in the future. Great quality. Very sturdy. Just a great product!!

Assembly not simple

FYI it took me 2 hours to put this kitchen together, arrives in a medium sized box and a hundred pieces. All you need is a phillips screwdriver and about 2 hours away from your kids. Great value, though, looks nice, all the bells and whistles, I am sure my daughter will love it when she sees it Xmas morning. Don't try to assemble this on Xmas day it will take too long.

Kids of ALL ages like it!

This is a very attractive piece, solid, and not difficult to assemble. It takes some extra time as some holes are not pre-drilled. Our only disappointment is the unit is IDENTICAL to some of our friends but apparently the specs have changed and the microwave no longer makes "beeping" sounds. Unit comes with pot/pan and some additional items. You will need to purchase a food set.

Product as expected

Pros: - Delivered on time and in good condition - Took about 30mins to assemble - Everything works as detailed Cons: - Colors on the product have a slightly faded look compared to photographs ... but makes no difference to my little one ... she simply loves this thing. Played till late last night and woke up this morning asking for it.

Excellent Value

I am sure there are better kitchens out there, but in terms of value for your dollar, I don't think that you can top this kitchen. There are plenty of things to play with in this kitchen. The down side is that you have to drill several holes yourself, which is not easy. If you are not saavy with drilling things, I would make sure you have some one on hand to help you. But other than that, my two girls just love this kitchen, and I have seen it occupy them all day long! They are totally in love with it. It comes with two bowls, two plates, some silverware, a pot and a pan (which boils/sizzles respectively on the stove). Hours of creative play.

Very Realistic Kitchen!

My almost 3 year old son LOVES this gender neutral kitchen - it is so realistic with a stove, fridge, drawer, cabinet, food bin, microwave & sink! Very cool how the pot and pan makes noise as if its boiling or sizzling. I would STRONGLY recommend this product to all moms for boys & girls!

Good Value

Just purchased this for my almost 2 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She loved it as well as a grandson, 2 1/2. Great product at a reasonable price. Seems to be sturdy enough to withstand what small children put toys through. A little trouble with assembly; directions weren't always as clear as they needed to be and it wasn't always obvious where the screws to hold it together went as there weren't "starter" holes.

Very Nice Kitchen

This is a great product. Only problem I see is the holes are not predrilled for assembly. Called Step2 & they are no longer predrilling the holes. Makes assembly more difficult than it should be if there were holes. Don't want to ruin a $100 product by making an unecessary mistake. Anyway, my child loves it. I would recommend it to my friends.

i'm glad a chose this kitchen

My kids, ages 3 yrs and 19 months, have lots of fun "cooking" on their new kitchen. I especially appreciate that it was fairly easy to assemble - I would recommend using a drill. I did consider buying a bigger, more expensive play kitchen, but I'm glad I chose this one instead. I'm sure my kids would have been equally happy with either one.

A wonderful interactive play item

I purchased this for my 3 1/2 old grandson because he loves to help his mother in the kitchen. He told his mother that now he has his own kitchen to cook in and will not have to mess up hers. And because it has storage, the small kitchen items will not be laying all over the floor. He called me on his "Kitchen phone" to tell me thank you. I know he will get many hours of fun from it. It was well worth the money and the usual outstanding Step 2 quality.
