kitchen

I have one of these already and my daycare kids and my grand children love it. That is why I choose it for my grand daughter for Christmas. It is a great value for the money and this time I got the 101 piece food set with it , and I paid so little. What more could I ask for? Very safe, if you know that what fits through a toilet paper roll is a choking hazard, so store it away until the child is older!!! Very very happy!!! Don't waste your money on cheap corner units or !more expensive units, it just isn't necessary

Definitely Worth the Money

For only $80, there was no question what kitchen we were going to buy for our daughter. It is sturdy, the plastic isn't cheap or thin. We wanted to get something taller as we have taller than average children. This definitely looks tall enough for both my daughter and her older brother to play with together. I know she is going to enjoy the noise-making burner, and the telephone with it's beeps and ring. I was happy to read that were only a few bad reviews, which I didn't find particularly helpful. We were able to assemble this WITHOUT any power tools. A simple screw driver and time is all that is needed. Some screws were harder than others but nothing difficult for me or my husband to do. No, not every hole is pre-drilled, only the outer holes. If every piece was pre-drilled, you'd have to worry about lining up the holes instead of getting the counter and such in the right place. It would be impossible to even see the holes that would be hidden after assebly to make sure they are even lined up at all! I wish it did come with some cooking utensils but that can be easily rememdied since many of the play food sets come with those anyways. Overall, we are very please and know our daughter (and son) is going to love it when we give it to her for her birthday!

Great product

I got this kitchen for my daughter's 1st birthday. She absolutely loves it and plays with it almost everyday. It was so easy to assemble. It took us almost an hour. Bought this online and have it shipped to the nearest store from our house for pick-up.

Fun for all little chefs!

Prior to purchasing this item for my 2 year old son, he had a big fascination wih watching me cook in our kitchen. Now he does his own cooking while I cook our meals. We also bought him some pretend food items to go along with the few pots and pans that came with the kitchen. He has so much fun selecting his own food and cooking it just like Mommy and Daddy do! Pretty easy to assemble...lots of decals though. Just the right size for small spaces. Could include more accessories however. You will have to purchase more items to go along with this one.

Excellent product

We are all very pleased with the lifestyle kitchen, including our 2 1/2 year old son. It is very sturdy and was easy to put together. Our son pretends to cook us meals all the time. There is just enough storage and comes with the perfect accessories. The stove even makes cooking sounds. We've have searched around and found that this was the best quality kitchen in our price range.

Great Value for the Money!

Fantastic alternative to the slightly larger, but more expensive model. My two year-old daughter LOVES this kitchen. It doesn't take up a lot of space, but it has everything she needs to have hours of fun. The only reason I didn't give the kitchen 5 overall stars is the slight difficulty in assembling it. Some of the holes aren't predrilled, and when I assembled it, the plate rack rail ended up too close on one side, and we can't fit plates in on that end (but the bowls fit nicely there.) Also, the microwave door doesn't close easily. But I think that was once again, issues in attaching the counter and top part to the base. Overall, I was not disappointed, and I think you are getting a lot for the money. Plus it's absolutely adorable. Just don't ask me to assemble it for you!

Great for small space.

I had been shopping around for kitchen for a while. I wanted something that would not take up a lot of space in my two year old's room. This kitchen is great and the price is great too. When you use the pot or pan on the burner it makes real cooking sounds. So far that is my daughter's favorite feature. My four year old loves playing with the kitchen too. Also there is plenty of storage. The cabinet and drawer are bigger than what the picture shows and there is the fridge and stove if you need more storage space. This is another great product from Step 2!!!

stylish and durable

I purchased this for my 3 1/2 and 2 year old daughters. I wanted something durable and something with storage for their dishes and food. Now they have their own drawers and cupboards to get into. The bubbling and sizzling sounds are fun and not too obnoxiously loud especially when the lids are on the pots. The phone is cute and not too loud either. Great price for what you get! Some other stores have much more flimsy models for $20 to $30 more. I considered getting the larger deluxe one, but this one is just perfect for our small living room and for the two girls to share.

Best deal for the price!

I had previously read a review that this is the best kitchen for the price and it is true. It is the perfect size for a small room and includes everything a kitchen could possibly have, our 2 year old loves it! Also, the site to store shipping was very quick, I will definately use this again.

Wonderful toy kitchen for my 2 kids

My girls love this kitchen. Its small enough not to take up too much space in room. Our house is only 1100 sq ft. The water boils or the frying pan sizzles. Very realistic sounds and the phone beeps and rings. An electric screwgun would help in putting it together quicker. We didn't have much trouble with a manual screwdriver. All around good product for a reasonable price. I love playing with them too. They love to "cook" for me
