my 2 yr old loves it

for the price it is great. i expected more though. i thought the buttons on the microwave were real and not stickers. the screen on the phone is a sticker. the faucet has a button but does not make any noise. the only thing that makes noise is the one stove burner( when the pot and pan go in it). my son likes this the best and pretends to cook. i just wish it made more realistic noises

Great Value for the product

Great product for the price, overall easy to assemble, but really need to have a drill, vs. being optional for some assemble parts. Step 2 is great quality product, and easy to clean. My 2 year old loved it for her birthday. Used site to store and was easy to pick up in store.

Little girl's favorite!

PROS: My daughter (15 months) loves this kitchen! She likes opening all of the cupboards and drawers, and making the water boil (sound on the stovetop). We bought some plastic fruit and veggies that she can put on the plates. And the best thing is that mommy can now fix dinner uninterrupted! Since its not too large, we put it in the kitchen and my daughter can pretend cook while I'm doing the real thing. CONS: Eventhough I like the small size for right now, my daughter will probably outgrow this fairly quickly. If you are looking for something that will grow with your child, this is probably not the best choice (although not that bad). But for the price, we couldn't pass it up for this year!

Great gift!

We purchased the Step2 Lifestyle Custome Kitchen for our daughter's 2nd birthday. This was a hit, not only for her but all the children that came to her party. My husband didn't seem to have too much trouble with putting it together. I think the hardest part for him was putting the stickers on (giggle). This was a great gift and I love how the stove top makes cooking sounds. The only downside is that the phone isn't very loud. You can hardly hear it.

low-quality kitchen for price

It looks cute in the picture, but it does not impress. I think we paid way too much for this. The stickers look really cheesy and my daughter only played with it on Christmas day and never since. It doesn't have enough features to engage the child and it definitely cost a lot for the quality.

Kitchen reviews

My son loves this kitchen! My only concerns are: 1) the toy phone doesn't work, even with new batteries 2) the knobs covering the screws were not included with in the box. I'm not sure if these issues are true for all the kitchens, or just the one we bought. Merry Christmas!

sturdy

I love this kitchen! It was well worth the money! This was an early christmas gift for my 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son. This product took a little while to put together, but it's very sturdy and made of high quality plastic. I think my kiddos will get many years of fun playing out of this kitchen.

Great set for the price!

This is a nice kitchen set for the price. My wife and I wanted to get a kitchen set for our 2 1/2 year old son after he saw the more expensive model in another store. After doing some shopping, we decided on this one as it has basically the same things as the higher model. The only things that make noise are one burner and the phone as oppose to just about everything in the other model, but I don't think my son minds. I know we don't for the price gap. It went together in about an hour, but we were taking our time. Very simple and sturdy. Our 9 month old stands on the oven door and it stays together, which impressed me. Also, I used a screwdriver to put together, but would recommend a carefully used driver, as some of the screws are rather long.

Loved this product

I bought this product for my 18 mos. daughter and she loves it (as does my 5 year old). It's the perfect size, not too small. It takes a little time to put together as you have to screw all together (doors too) but was worth it! I would recommend to anyone.

Great Kitchen!

This is a wonderful kitchen. I recently bought it for my 2 year old little girl's birthday. She and her big brother, age 4, have been playing with it nonstop since she received it!! They love the sounds and have been playing together very well. One of her favorite things is the phone that makes noises. Very good kitchen, for a very good price!
