Great Kitchen

I bought the Step2 LifeStyle Custom Kitchen last Christmas for my 18 month old granddaughter. She loves it. She still plays with it all the time. It was easy to put it together, I did it by myself, and it is made really well and will last a long time. To gift wrap, a bicycle gift bag fits over it great. My only problem with it is that I will never be able to top it this Christmas.

LOVE this Kitchen!

This was very easy to put together. The instructions actually make sense. I put it together by myself. I would recomend using an electric screw driver, my arms were a bit tired after putting it together. The kitchen is very sturdy, my kids are both climbers and it is holding up well. I love all the extra storage for accessories. It doesn't take up as much room as I was expecting either. Both my kids love it. It is in use all day.

Missing door

Although the Kitchen is adorable and my granddaughter loves it, I was so upset to find the microwave door missing when we were putting it together on Christmas eve. Clearly I can't return it for so many reasons. I'm hoping that I can contact the manufacturer to see if they will send me one. I'm not sure what Wal-Mart will do in this case either.

We bought this for our 5 year old son who loves to cook and he loves it. The fact that it makes noise and lights up like "fire" is so cool to him. Even my 7 year old plays with it. As soon as we got it set up in his room he put all his food in the refrigerator and set up his dishes. It was so cute. I am very happy with this. We have previously owned a cheaper kitchen which did not hold up well but I see lots of enjoyment coming from this one.

Sturdy & Entertaining!

I purchased this kitchen for my 16-month-old after researching many play kitchens, and it has exceeded my expectations. The directions made it easy to put together, but definitely get a power drill/screwdriver as most of the screws are difficult. The kitchen is very sturdy and durable. It comes with just the right amount of dishes - not too many little pieces to lose. The burner sizzles or boils, depending on which pot you put on the stove, and it's really neat! The phone also takes batteries but just makes muted beeping noises (like a real phone.) There are no obnoxiously loud songs, thank goodness! My son loves all the drawers and cabinets to open and close, and I love that the colors are more natural than a lot of the brightly colored things out there. This kitchen is one of the few things that will keep him entertained for more than a few seconds. It is worth every penny, and we will have it for years to come.

Best gift ever!

When the price on this kitchen was rolled back, we decided to buy this one instead of the cheaper one we were looking at. It took us less than an hour to assemble and sticker - it was so easy! I like that it is a heavier plastic than the other one we were looking at and is very stable - which is very important to me since we have a little one on the way. Our daughter's face lit up Xmas morning when she opened her kitchen! She LOVES it and plays with it everyday! the phone and the burner making noise is a big plus, but she is disappointed that the microwave and oven do not make sound. It would have been nice if the oven had a rack in it and made noise, but she is having a good time none-the-less. I also wish that it had come with a few more accessories. After unwrapping it, she started opening everything up and said, "Oh no mommy! there's no food in the kitchen!" Thankfully, I made sure to pick up a food set to go with it. we highly recommend this product and imagine that we will get many years out of it!

wonderful kitchen!

For the money, I could not find a better kitchen. I wanted one that was gender neutral, as I bought it for my sons (age 3 1/2 and 1 1/2). It is a great kitchen, big enough for them both to play at with room for a friend or two as well. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a good quality kitchen w/o wanting to break the bank. You won't regret it, and your kids will love it!

My son LOVES it

We bought this kitchen for my sons 2nd b-day. His babysitter has one and he plays with it all the time. This is the BEST toy he's received. He plays with it everyday. We really like the sounds of the skillet cooking and the pot boiling. It's definitely worth every penny.

Great product!

I did a lot of research on kitchens before I bought this and was not disappointed. My 17 mo. old loves it and her 5 & even 8 yr. old sibs love to play with her! The cooking sounds effects make a fun toy. It is sturdy and pretty. Great buy and mine even came with free $20 bakeware!!

4 hours of nonstop play!

I wasn't sure what to get my 21mo old son for Christmas until I saw this. $7.00 shipping got it to me in 3 days. It took hubby 1.5hrs to put together & place stickers. The burner needs a slim neck phillips screwdriver. He used the electric on everything else. The detail is gorgeous. My mom said she'd never seen such a complete set & it's compact! The bonus 101pc food was great, but I still bought more for variety (cans & bottles). I read that the microwave keypad could be bought from step 2, but they wouldn't sell it to me cuz it didn't originally come with this kitchen. I did manage to get the keypad & it makes all the difference in the world. My son microwaved chicken & talked on the phone for 4hrs straight, completely ignoring all other presents. I have a baby on the way & I couldn't be happier. They'll have fun together with this. I've included a cell phone pic. My son is 33" tall.
