My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter is thrilled with this kitchen. It was a big hit and I would encourage anyone to purchase this for preschoolers. Her father loved his when he was 3 and it was used by siblings and sold in a garage sale so it holds up! Great for imaginations and I think it is the most used toy on a daily basis. You really can't go wrong!

got this for my 2yr and 4yr old -- my 2yr old daughter is in love with it!! i put it together my self i did need to get a power drill thought. i love that everything she needs to 'cook' me a meal is all right there. both kids have used this every day since it arrived. the sink faucet sits crooked and the burner looks crooked to me too that is why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 but it is only something i notice the kids don't and it is their toy not mine .... and it is made of plastic so i can't really expect perfection :)

I spent a lot of time researching kitchen playsets and so happy I selected this one. I bought it for my daughter's 2nd birthday. Both her and my 4 year old son love it! It was easy to put together, took about 30 minutes. It is very sturdy. The fridge, oven, microwave all open and close. There are two drawers that open and the cabinet opens. The basket also is great for extra storage, for play food or other accessories. The phone and burner both makes noises. Big enough that they both can play at the same time. Very happy. Shipped site to store and got it within a few days. Would highly recommend this to anyone considering a kitchen play set.

I ordered this for my daughters 3rd birthday. When we opened it it was missing all the decals and instructions. I'm pretty sure other parts were missing as well but we packed it right back up to send back to Walmart. Walmart was nice about it but it was a huge hassle and I had to run around town looking for. Replacement gift. In addition, I think this model was cheap and ugly looking. Step2 has cuter versions if you are willing to spend about $30 more.

We got this for our daughter for her Christmas gift and she absolutely loves it! It was worth it! She loves the sounds the burner makes and how the pot boils! It was perfect for her. The assembly was pretty easy to put together but a little time consuming. Other than that, it was great!

My 3 year old loves her new kitchen. I wish i would have bought it for her when she was 2 she would have been able to enjoy it a lot longer. She loves the sounds it makes and I love how it looks so much like a real kitchen. It wasn't very difficult to put together and she "helped" me.

As another reviewer stated, this version does not come with an electronic oven or microwave pad. And the white drawer on the left is actually just a sticker. Very easy to put together-under an hour. You just need a bit of muscle for the big screws. The fridge door on ours is a bit off and has to be pushed hard to close, I figure this will fix itself in time. Good value for price paid.

Pretty good kitchen for the price! My 20 month old daughter has just had it a few days- but so far I've noticed the fridge is tough to close if it's not pushed at the top of the handle. So, until she gets the hang of it- she always asks us for help. And since the fridge is tough to close- if she forces the door closed- then the dishes fall out of their vertical slots. I also think the border of the kitchen is a little outdated- I believe they have cherries on it- my husband left those stickers off and I think it looks better. Besides those minor details- I think she will love it and all the food that it came with!!

All the pieces were there, instructions were easy to follow, it took me about an hour and fifteen minutes -- mostly because I obsessed over getting the decals on just right. The child I bought it for is 14 months and while she doesn't pretend to cook with it, she loves to put the dishes in the many compartments and take them out. She can easily put the skillet and pot on the burner just so to make the sizzling or boiling sounds.

I would have given this 5 stars but the assembly directions were a little difficult to follow. Very few words with mainly low quality small photos showing what should be done. I had to drill small holes to put the screws into as they weren't sharp enough to penetrate the plastic. The company must have upgraded the decals as several of them weren't shown on the instructions for placement. But it wasn't too difficult to figure out. Now for the pros. They pack a lot of stuff in a small compact set. The decals are bright and detailed. There are many accessories that keep our granddaughter busy. She especially likes the sound effects on the range while cooking in the pots. Overall we would buy it again.
