So happy with this kitchen

I love this particular kitchen, very sturdy and long lasting. I bought the exact one 3 years ago it's still beautiful and my niece still plays with it. I was happy to find it on the Walmart website so I was able to purchase it again for another lucky little girl. The newer models are much lighter and not as detailed.

daughter loves it

I was a little disappointed in the features. I thought it would be better if the sink made sounds as well the microwave and oven. the stove is the only sound it makes along with the phone. My daughter really likes it though and that's what really matters. The price was pretty good too!

My kids love it!

My fiance and I purchased this product for my 3 year old for christmas this year. It was easy to assemble and only took about 20 min. I would reccomend this affordable play kitchen to anyone who has small children. My daughter loves making mommy and daddy pretend dinners and has tea parties with her stuffed animals and dolls with things she "cooked" in her kitchen.

a ok product

the product was ok some holes need a drill in which I don't have. I Thought I could put it together with a hand held screw driver. I was mistaken. I got it together but some pieces our lose and just sitting on each other till I get a drill.so far my son has not nocked it over.

Pretty Junky

I am not impressed at all with this item. It was covered with dirt and grime, had large scratches on it (thankfully on the back) and when assembled, the pieces did not fit together properly, although the directions were followed closely; for example, the refrigerator door does not close properly and the countertop is uneven. If I had known all of this sooner, I would have returned it immediately, but couldn't disappoint on christmas morning. I would have expected more from the manufacturer. We do, however, like the boiling and sizzling sound effects and my child is too little to notice the imperfections, so after a lot of scrubbing and if you squint just right, it will pass as acceptable.

It May Not Arrive Perfect

My two-year-old twin daughters really do LOVE this kitchen. It's definitely a good deal and it looks perfect now, but it certainly was far from when it first arrived. The catch for the oven door didn't line up properly causing it to never stay shut. I contacted Step2 and they promptly send me a fastener that resolved the problem. The upper cabinet arrived with several scratches and a dent on the top. Step2 asked if the box arrived damaged and upon examining it I noticed that a large chunk had been torn away and then taped back together. I sent them a picture and they immediately offered to send a replacement. Bottom line, it looks great now, but it took a few weeks to get us there. Though Step2's customer service team was very helpful, I wish I hadn't needed to contact them in the first place. I don't regret the purchase, but buyer beware that it may not arrive perfect right out of the box.

A Kitchen with Everything

My twin boys are 19 months old, and love this little kitchen! It has everything! It comes with dishes, cups and silverware, and even a dish rack to store them- it even has a silverware drawer to store the silverware! Most importantly, it has PLENTY of storage to hold the food items- a basket, lower cabinet, upper drawer, silverware drawer, oven, micowave and a refridgerator with two surfaces for storage. It is a little pricey, but other than that, it is a great product and fits nicely in our living room area.

The size of this kitchen is great for a small area, but there are many negatives. I really thought Step 2 was a great product, however when we were putting this together for our daughter on Christmas Eve the Oven door and lower cabinet door were missing. The doors that came installed are very hard to open. And you don't get the bells and whistles with this kitchen. What you see is what you get. The phone doesn't beep or ring, the microwave doesn't make any noise either. I will give Step 2 some credit because we have already received the missing parts only a week later.

A lot of stickers than buttons -Overall value low

The quality of the item was fine. My kid has always been in love with the kitchen sets.. he plays with them in his playschool, in the playarea of my apartment.. So that why we decided to buy this. The price was just right.. the quality was good. we ensured that we dont buy the cheap one that come for $40-50 The items that my 3yr kid plays with are: 1) The stove (which makes noise when the special pans are put on them) 2) The cell phone that comes with it And thats it :( The lack of buttons makes this less attractive to my kid... I might just be returning it and buying the higher model i guess :(

Hours of fun

I did alot of shopping before buying. This one got the best customer reviews, and I am very happy with my choice. Our 20-month old daughter loves this kitchen, even her 6-year-old cousins likes playing with it. It has many features and doesn't take-up alot of room. My only complaint would be the sink. Not deep at all.
