Cute

Very cute! The kids have fun with it. Downfalls would be the fridge is crooked so it doesn't shut right and the spot where you are supposed to be able to put plates is not deep enough to hold them there

Christmas present

Just what we wanted for our 14 month old granddaughter! She will enjoy this for many years to come. Highly recommend using a drill for assembly as the screw holes are not pre drilled.

I would buy this product again.

My daughter and her cousins live the kitchen. Especially the life like sounds of the frying pan and boiling pot. We purchased additional "play food" and it has really enhanced their experience.

A great play kitchen for boys and girls!

I initially was going to buy a bigger kitchen but my daughter helped pick this one offline. The blue is not overwhelming to the point it feels like a boy toy but also no pink to feel like a boy shouldn't play with it, ya know, if you think gender colors matter. It was easy to put together. However, it recommends using a screwdriver but there were no preformed holes so I had to use a drill. No big deal! I managed to get it together by myself with a 14 month old trying to play with it during the process. It's a good, sturdy toy that will get many years of play!

Assembly is a nightmare..!!

I dont know how good the product would be if I could assemble. It's nightmare - There are no holes for screw, you need to push the pin through the plastic. So, you need a lot of strength/patience, and or you use a high quality electric screw driver/drill and run the risk of improper screw alignment. Also, I was not able to open some screws on battery unit, this is where I gave up. I have assembled a lot of things, including Ikea product, but this is the hardest on all.

Awesome kitchen for the kids

Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program.First i want to say that when i set this up my girls freaked out! Not only is it super easy to set up ( only needed a screwdriver and about ten minutes) but there was not allot of small pieces for me to lose. The interactive microwave, phone and stove are by far my favorite and i can not tell you how many times i have had my girls ask if i want spaghetti or bacon cooked with the burner that lights up and makes noise for the pan and pot. The extra storage is great for extra food for them while they are not playing with it. All in all this is a great product and i loved it as much as my kids do. Seeing their imagination grow with this product is definitely worth purchasing the Lifestyle Custom Kitchen.

Great kitchen!

We got this kitchen for my son and he loves it! It is very sturdy and was easy to assemble (just a few pieces to put together). I do not think the photo they use for this kitchen does it justice, it makes it look much cheaper than it does in person. Overall I think it is great quality!

So-so

I must say that my husband had no trouble assembling this little kitchen. And I mean little. I expected it to have more room on the counter for the play pots and pans. I can tell my little grand daughter gets frustrated with the lack of space. The lids are hard to handle as well. The dish rack is too small for the dishes and was disappointed that toy food was not included. She plays with it still but gets frustrated after a short period of time. I believe it's not worth the price. If you can find a cheaper play kitchen I would get that one. This really isn't worth the money.

Good deal

Bought it for $79.99. It was a good deal. The burner have 2 different sounds depending on the pan/pot that you put on to imitate boiling or frying sound. It was easy to assemble, nothing confusing. The only thing hard was making a hole to screw the parts together. Also there was a part on the kitchen that should not require screwing anymore. They could have just designed it to snap. It only was an added burden as it took effort to tighten the long screws. Other than that, my 2 yr old boy everyday plays with it. Sometimes my almost 6 yrs old son will play with it too. Wish the oven, microwave and refrigerator buttons make a sound too to make it more realistic. I'm giving it a 4. Less 1 star for the lack of holes to put them together.

definitely worth it!

At first I was going to buy a kitchen that was less expensive, but after my friends experience with a cheaper quality product & many reviews having the same problems, I decided to go with this one. Especially after the price was rolledback! I got this site to store & ricieved it in less time than expected. It was a Christmas present for my daughter, so it didn't get put together until she went to sleep Christmas eve. It took less than an hour to put together - stickers and all - even using a manual screwdriver. If you use a power screwdriver, it will go even faster. The kitchen looks great once put together. Better than the cheaper one I was going to get. Plus, the plates, utensils, pots & pans come ready to play with. The cheaper kitchen needed pieces cut out & sharp edges filed down. The only thing I didn't like is that it didn't come with food. And don't forget the batteries!
