Great Product

Got this for my 18 mo old and she loves it! She enjoys the sounds effects for boiling & frying. We got this kitchen w/the food during a special WalMart was running, and with 101 pieces, every cabinet & drawer is full. Easy to put together and is perfect for smaller areas. I also picked this particular kitchen because it wasn't going in a playroom & since it was going to be visible to guests, wanted something to match with our actual kitchen (cherry/stainless steel). This is one of the most affordable kitchens that I found after researching many. I do wish the buttons on micro & oven made noise. Phone does make noise though. Also got a cart so she can "shop" for the food that she is going to prepare and she loves it.

She loves it!!

We purchased the kitchen for my 20 month old daughter. I was pleased with it except for the fact the microwave door fit to tightly so she couldn't open and close it by herself. But, it was an easy fix. We just had to move a screw over a little and it was just right. Works great now!!

Granddaughter's second birthday......

She loves her new kitchen set. The assembly was a little challenging. Would have helped if there had been a pre-marked place to put the long screws. Getting the screws in the correct place was difficult. An electric screwdriver is a must! We managed and it's been a success.

Cute...smaller than thought.

The kitchen if very cute and was very easy to put together, but was much smaller than what I thought. (I guess that is okay if you have limited space to place it) It is fine for my daughter because she is only 2, but if you are purchasing for an older child you may want to go with something bigger. The stove top sounds are great and my daughter loves using the frying pan to cook her plastic veggies. I would recommend this kitchen for smaller children!

Fun for boy's too

My son is all boy. He loves rocks, dirt, balls, trains, and cars. I wanted to give him something that would allow him to explore his imagination and engage him in quiet play. Although quiet play still does not exist that is not the fault of the kitchen. All in all, and for the price, it's wonderful. Some of the more expensive ones have more counter space and a beeping microwave (two things that I wish this one had). However, I really can't complain because the price was right. I was worried that the kitchen was pink from the photo on the internet. However, it is a beige color and neutral enough to keep a little boy's father happy. My son plays with this toy at some point everyday. He loves filling cups of pretend water for me to drink. Bottomline: I'd recommend this product.

Great Deal

I saw the kitchen set in my local Walmart store and decided to look for it online, so much better deal online. The set also included the 101 piece food set to go with the kitchen and both of my small chilredn absolutely LOVE it! Paid a great price for a great product!

Great kitchen for the price

This is a great kitchen for the price. I have a small house so the size is a plus -- it has everything she needs to "play kitchen" but not a lot of useless extras that take up space. My 20 month old daughter loves it. The price here was about $40 less than Amazon.com. A lot of people comment on how difficult it is to put together, which is not true at all. A drill or power-screwdriver does make a huge difference in speed, but even with a basic screwdriver it is not complicated, just more time consuming and harder on your wrist. The location of the phone charger (on the stove top) is odd, but she still likes it.

perfect product for my son

I got this kitchen after doing on-line and in-store "research". I didn't want to spend over $100 for it, and this one was definitely the one that seemed to offer the best value... and I am not dissapointed. My 3 y.o. son wanted a kitchen for christmas, and this one was perfect. Not too expensive, relatively small so it wouldn't cramp the play area, and pretty complete. It would be nice if the microwave made noises too (as do the phone and the stove), but for the price I guess it's ok. It was fairly easy to put together, the instructions were simple and clear and it took me around 1 hr (with a regular screwdriver). A couple of holes are not "open", but it was easy to get through with some pressure. My son plays with it everyday, his little brother reaches for the top part stepping on the oven door, and it seems pretty strong. Overall, a great kitchen for the price.

Awesome purchase

My 19 month daughter loves this kitchen. It was a Christmas present and she plays with it daily. I am so lucky to have found this one and at a great price! I shopped and shopped around until I found this kitchen and was tickled to also get free shipping (site to store)!

My Son Love's It!

My son loves this kitchen and it was a great price on WalMart.com. We saved $25 compared to other stores. My husband and I looked at a lot of kitchens online and in catalogs and selected this one because we thought the others looked like they would be too big for our house. I must say, the children in the picture must be minature people because they make the kitchen appear much larger than it is. It is plenty of kitchen for my 2 1/2 year old, but would be tight for him to play with more than one other friend. A couple of comments.... 1. It would be nice if more of the parts made a sound. Only the telephone, skillet, and saucepan make a sound. I know my son would like to hear a sound when he presses the buttons on the microwave or oven. 2. The oven does not have a shelf. I don't know about the rest of you, but I do not put my food on the floor of my oven when I cook. There is no rack so my son treats it more like a storage cabinet than an oven. 3. We ordered the kitchen with the green countertop, thinking it would be more manly for a boy. When it arrived, we received the red countertop. Of course, Santa didn't open the box to assemble the kitchen until Christmas Eve, so we are keeping the red counter-top kitchen. If you are particular about what color you want, double check when it arrives.
