Great Product

This is a great product and a great value. My kids got this for Christmas and they absolutely love it. It was super easy to assemble so it was together and ready for them to play with in no time. We also purchased a Step2 table and chair set last year - these products are very durable and are made to last!

Great, Exactly as Described

I highly recommend this play kitchen. t is a great value and great quality. It is a perfect not-too-big size and the accessories are nice. My kids are 1 and 2 and they already love it. We've had it a little over a month and they still play with it every day. I think this will last us several years. I am surprised by the review that said there isn't enough storage. There is storage for everything it comes with plus an extra cabinet and drawer. Plus the basket is big enough for more than just the pots. And the refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave could store things if needed. My only wish is that the microwave had real buttons and sound. That would be great. But I knew that wasn't the case because I read the ad before I bought it. So that's just a wish, not an expectation. My husband put it together without any trouble.

MIGHT NOT BE FOR YOU

We bought this kitchen for my daughter's second birthday. We used the site to store function, which I must say was wonderful. The kitchen however, was simply mediocre. For being a Step 2 products, I was definately not impressed. The quality is excellent but putting it together was a whole other story. First, it is necessary to drill your own holes, so be prepared. Secondly, the silverware drawer is so shallow that I was surprised that the silverware (4 pieces) fit inside of it. The screws are visible on all for sides (not good with little ones) and the faucet appears to be the wrong size for the hole that was created for it. Now, this is not my first kitchen purchase, my older child had one on their 2nd birthday also, with a 7 yr. age gap, we no longer had that unit so we had to purchase a new one. The unit I purchased in 2000 however, was 1/2 the price and better quality. Sort of disappointed.

Great build quality, just wish it did more sounds other than the burner and the cell phone. Pretty easy to put together for me, but instructions where all over the place I think. Meaning the first page had the first 4-5 steps then I had to go to the second page on the other side to find the next steps. Something ridiculous like that.

Step 2 Kitchen Review

I was impressed with the quality of this product for the price paid. I purchased this kitchen for my granddaughter who was turning 2 years old. The little ones at her party swarmed this kitchen when it was brought into the living room. They all seemed to love it and there are plenty of features to go around for multiple children playing at the same time.

Step 2 Kitchen

Great product, durable and best of all easy to assemble. Took only 20 minutes to put together (using a cordless drill). You can't beat the Step 2 brand. We paid more for this than several of the competitor products we researched but it was well worth the premium because of the time we saved putting it together for our 2 year old niece. Would recommend without reservation.

A lot of options for playtime

I bought this for my 3 yr old niece for Christmas. It reminded me of the play stove, fridge, etc. I got to play with when I was little. There are a lot of things to play with, microwave, oven, sink, stove, pots and pans. It seemed to be pretty easy to put together. The only disappointing thing was that there was a piece missing from the box. Now my brother and sister-in-law will need to try to get the replacement part.

Great Starter Kitchen!

Quiet simply and to the point... This play kitchen ROCKS!!! We purchased it for our 4 year old son with a fascination for cooking and entertaining. Not only does he love it but our just turned 1 daughter actually spends a lot more than the usual 5 to 10 minutes she gives other toys. The best part however is that she's finally out of MY kitchen cabinets! It's a small unit which is good if you have space constraints but it's a bit snug for multiple "chefs". I would definitely recommend buying some toy foods to enhance the whole experience. We haven't done that yet but plan to soon. In the short time we've had it we did run into a small problem... the sizzling and boiling sounds activated on their own in the middle of the night without the pot or pan on the burner. Our short term solution has been to remove the batteries. We plan to contact the manufacturer if it continues. Overall a great value for the price. It was also very simple to assemble. I found it was easy to apply the stickers while the pieces were laying on the floor making it easier to steady your hand before assembling.

Very cute!

This is just an adorable kitchen. My 2 yr daughter and 4 year old son love it. The sounds from the burner is just too cute. I wish the refriderator and microwave also made sounds. Oh well, it was worth the price. site to store was EASY. I put this up all by myself in about 1 hour. Some of the holes were not drilled but my hubby took care of that.

AWESOME!!

This kitchen is awesome. We gave it to our 2 1/2 yr old for Christmas. She loves it. Plays with it everyday, just the right size. Took about 45 minutes to put together. Use a cordless screwdriver, went much quicker with that. Fabulous buy! Highly recommend!
