Looks and sounds great, though i wish it was just a little shorter so it could stand in front of my Vizio TV without blocking the bottom of the screen. Using the TV remote to control volume can also be a little tricky. If the remote can "see" the TV but not have a clear shot at the sound bar, the volume display on the TV will look like it's getting louder when it really isn't. HDMI cable connection could remedy this but that's not available. Overall a good value for the money but definitely has some limitations.

It's exactly what my Vizio tv needed.. Now, that they have speakers mounted in the back of the set it's more difficult to hear the sound. I bought the Vizio 38"soundbar which looks great in front of the set and had it hooked up in 10 minutes. One optical wire that got plugged in to the back of the tv (which I had to look for the plug -in that took an extra minute or two) and the other end to the soundbar. Hook up the power chord and you're done. If you don't have sound click the input button and watch the flashing lights on the bar until it finds the right input your tv is using. Also, read the manual for other helpful settings keeping your eye on the bar's lights as you adjust your settings. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Very easy to set up. Bought it online at the same time I bought my TV and brought them home the same day. Did some research and read reviews of MANY sound bars through multiple websites and came to the conclusion that this was the cheapest one with the best reviews. I was not disappointed whatsoever. The sound on this thing is spectacular. It plays Blu-Ray movies with super-clear sounds and great bass. It also connects to my phone via Bluetooth so I can play music that way as well. It's an all-around great product. The TV remote even works for the device as well which is great. Highly recommend the device to others. Great buy!

I purchased the 40 inch Vizio soundbar and it did not have Bluetooth wireless and the optical cable placement was very difficult to plug in so we just used the regular rca red and white cables and it sounded ok. The remote was very small and it was not universal to use with my direct tv remote. I seen walmart had this model Bluetooth wireless and it was universal with remotes and it had other better sound details so I exchanged it. What a big difference all together the sound is great and the remote is bigger and not only that it is universal with my direct tv remote. Very Happy

We bought this as an adder to our 55" HDTV that was lacking for sound power / quality. The setup was simple enough. The install was a tad tricky as I susupended it from the TV itself, which is mounted to an articulating wall mount. The only issue we have is that the volume is not in synce with the tv remote very well. For instance, we were used to having the TV turned up to 12-15 (out of 60) to get decent sound, with this unit, we only go to about 2. There should be a way to sync these, but I have not found it yet.

I was pleasantly surprised just how crisp the sound is from this awesome sound bar. I got it in a bundle when I purchased a new 60 inch Vizio LED TV. I plugged it in, and was quickly impressed. It gets very loud and you can hear even the most minor of sound effects, ones normal TV speakers just can't reproduce.

The sound on our brand new vizio tv was less than stellar. We bought this sound bar, and it made a significant difference - big improvement. Would a more expensive one be even better? I don't know, but I do know that now I can understand what's being said on the screen!

this is one of the few soundbars with a subwoofer output. If you have a good sub already this soundbar will shine.. you cannot expect the small 3 inch speakers to produce bass...or the 40 watt amplifier.. true bass takes at least 100 watts rms and a 6 inch plus speaker. I have this connected to a sunfire 8 inch sub and movies are just like in the theater shake rattle and roll. good investment.. the built in "subwoofer speakers" actually do help the mid range, allowing the sub to have a cutoff of 120 cycles. just the little left and right speakers would leave a mid range hole..think bose systems very satisfied..my sony tv remote changes the volume and i never use the vizio remote..

Purchased for my mother. Seems to be well build and we like the sound quality. Trouble is that on level 4 and by level 5 it plays way to loud. Not much range of volume levels. Recommend auditioning in store check to see if you can return after trying at home. I think this unit is going back.

For under $100, you can't beat this sound bar. I tried the RCA which was very weak, then a Sony with subwoofer and it wasn't very good either. I am very happy with this one. At full volume, it is very loud and clear. I plan to add a subwoofer to it in the near future to complete the sound experience.
