I got this for my 50" Sony Bravio flat screen which honestly has better than average built in speakers already. I converted one bedroom into a tv room and wanted more; I got it with this sound bar. It's just the right amount for my 14 x 14 room, maybe a bigger room as well. At first I was concerned that there was no difference. Like other reviews, it important to read directions. I simply had to switch my tv from tv speakers to sound system and boom, it kicked in. Then adjust bass, treble etc to taste. Just play with it a while and tweak this and that till you get your sound. Good feature is you can always add a woofer (must be wired) if you are a big bass person. Very pleased. Like others the only down side are the lights on the left that indicate levels etc. Just copy layout from instruction sheet and keep near tv

we purchased a 42 inch tv and quickly discovered that the speakers were fine unless there was ANY background noise (dishwasher, etc.). I realized that we needed a soundbar and was shocked at how expensive they were. This was the most reasonably priced option for us made by a company I trusted. So thankful for the pictures in the instructions because I am NOT electronically inclined. We also mounted it on the wall thanks to the template included. We've had this soundbar since the day of the super bowl, so roughly a month and it works really well. I'd definitely recommend it.

When I first looked at this product, I researched reading other's reviews...some were good but some said negative things, all which to me were what only mattered to someone who was an audio or tech geek. But to someone like me, who needed an upgraded sound for her small room, I loved it and it was worth every penny! I can't even imagine how it sounded before. I especially love the Bluetooth feature, I can play music without the use of an AUX cord or any cord for that matter! Only thing I wish it came with was a subwoofer, but if that's what you're looking for is total complete surround sound, I'd spend more money and get a system with a subwoofer. But if you're just looking for better sound for your TV, this is worth it. Oh and the installation is totally idiot proof.

Wonderful sound bar, Great sound. super easy to hook up. One of the things i loved about it, it came with all the hook ups i would need to practically hook it up to anything. I have used samsung & Sony sound bars and i feel they don't stand a chance. I am a Samsung and Sony fan shoot who isnt they have great products. But in my opinion Vizio makes the Best sound Bar at an affordable price. Only way to get better sound bars in my opinion is to pay over $1000.00 yes there is $1000.00 and up sound bars lol I dont feel sound should cost more then a 55 inch LED TV lol. The Vizio sound bar and subwoofer is even a better combo. Get it & you will love it. another awesome thing is you can easily disconnect it and take it outside in 2 mins and hook it to an ipod and play music while have a wonderful BBQ & more!!

I purchased this for an exercise room in our basement, because the sound on the TV could not be heard over the machines while exercising. Easy installation near the exercise equipment. Can hear everything well now. Some reviews said it worked the first time, then stopped. It did that for me also, after I accidentally hit either the bluetooth button or the input button during installation. It then stopped working. After I read the owners manual on how to fix this, and held the input button for 3 seconds, it worked again and has continued to work well.

I purchased the VIZIO 38" 2ch Sound Bar (SB3820x-C6) model due to price (30.00 cheaper than this model) and the sound was mediocre and I ended up returning it and buying this model (has Bass speakers in it) and a huge difference in quality and depth of sound. It is a Bluetooth speaker as well so streaming music from your BlueTooth devices is a plus. I ended up needing to use 2 of the 4 cables provided (yes provided with this unit) to direct connect my cable set-top box and laptop to this soundbar since my TV's audio out did not pass through HDMI audio that was connected to it. For an open apartment living area this is located, the decibel level from this device is more than enough to have the neighbors banging on your door to turn it down. Great buy!

I mainly bought this soundbar because it had all the inputs (including Bluetooth) I wanted and a subwoofer output. All the inputs allow you to hook up anything to this soundbar. I initially tried it without an external subwoofer and I was not that impressed with the "high performance bass", but I wasn't really expecting much from that anyway. It did sound very good overall though. I then went to a Walmart store, bought the Sony 10" subwoofer, and now I'm very happy with the sound quality.

I would definitely recommend the Vizio Sound Bar. It meets my needs perfectly since I have tinnitus and have a problem with hearing TV due "surrounding" noises.....PLUS I was able to hook it up myself and I am electronically illiterate.

First one I received had a rattle in it , returned it . Got another one & it works great,easy hookup and mounting . 200% improvement over TV speakers .

I replaced my Philips sound bar with this Vizio. Wow what a difference. So glad I spent the money to buy a new one. The sound from my tv is way better now. So happy!
