A little different from my usual but just as good.

This is so easy to prepare with no 'bacon' mess. Just zip in the microwave for about a minute and you get perfect, crisp bacon every time. We've become bacon addicts because of the ease of preparation and clean up. No more raw bacon for us.

I discovered this bacon about 6 months ago and felt it was the best microwave bacon I've ever had. Then it disappeared from Sam's Club! Please bring it back! I will buy a lot of it! Thanks.

I love this stuff for the convenience when I don't feel like cooking bacon from raw (it takes forever!!) or if I just want a few slices of bacon. The flavor & texture is the closest thing you can get to raw bacon. I put a sheet of the parchment paper straight onto a baking sheet & into the oven for just a few minutes.

We only found this in our local Sam's Club the last 6 months or so, and were so happy we gave it a try. This past week haven't seen it in store or on the website. We hope that it will be back. The taste is incredible. Occasionally we get some fatty or less than desirable pieces, but for the most part it is great. Cooks up well in the microwave.

They used to be thick cut compared to the other package. But sometime in Oct of 2022 they mysteriously stop selling them at Sams for a couple months. Then they came back and are as thin as the other normal package. Just buy the other package and get twice as many. Hormel is trying to pull a fast one.

Wonderful bacon for quick home use. Heat it in microwave withsome paper toweling and it is thick, crisp, and delicious, without the usual cup of grease mess you get with uncooked bacon. The thin pre-cooked bacon is nowhere near as good as this one was. What a shame Sam's discontinued this product! Please bring this one or similar back!

I hesitated buying this bacon because at the price, it works out to just a few cents shy of $26/lb. I thought that was an outrageous amount to pay for bacon. Then I broke down what I was paying per pound for the "fully cooked" OM bacon I've been buying at the supermarket for 10+ years. That bacon was originally packaged like this, where you could see some of what is inside the package, but some time ago they closed up the box. In the past couple of years, we have opened the box to find very black strips of moldy bacon at least 4 times, so we switched to buying the grocery store brand. That is sliced so thin it is crazy, and BOTH are far from being "fully cooked"- so far that it closer to being "fully raw". But placed between a few sheet of paper toweling and nuked for a minute or two would yield nice, crispy bacon. Usually. My husband decided to take a risk on this after once again opening a box of disgusting black bacon. I AM SO GLAD HE DID. This bacon is closer to being fully cooked, the strips are noticeably thicker, and the taste... well it is beyond comparison. We have banned Mr. Mayer's from making another appearance in our home.

I've always been a fan of Hormel's fully cooked bacon, but I absolutely LOVE the new Thick Cut Hormel fully cooked bacon. So convenient ...right out of the microwave. Delicious for a quick breakfast or with fresh tomatoes for a homemade BLT sandwich. This is now on my shopping list!!

Agree with many of the other reviews that this bacon is NOT thick cut bacon. I cook bacon every morning and I had high hopes for this, however, I was very disappointed in the taste. Never really crisps up when reheating. Very bland to the point that it is pretty much tasteless. All I really noticed was a faint taste of salt. On a positive note, it looked pretty lean but I will not buy it again. I gave it one star for leanness and one star for the slight salty taste.
